chris o
hi everyone. i have recently had to take my winchester 91 back to the gun shop was cleaning it and i noticed 3 rather large splits in the stock. and he offerd me money back or a nother gun for the same price as the winnie. so i looked for bout a hour solid. and found 2 guns i was intrested in the first is a lincoln number two sidelock over and under with full and full chokes in it wich they will bore out for me. the next is a berreta 303 multi choke in camoflage but it is rather tatty which would i be best to get? the lincoln is 275 and the berretta was going for 310 quid but he said he will let me take it for 250. what should i do? some one please help me? dougall
Woah!!Slow down. You sound like you are being rushed.By the sounds of it this gun shop sold you a gun with 3 splits in the stock, any gunsmith who did not notice this fact does not get my money, especially as he is now offering you 2 totally different guns. I suggest; 1.Take full cash refund 2.decide what type of gun you want 3.Do not feel you must return to that same shop to buy it. Analogy, I go into a garage and buy a Ford Focus. When I get home I find the chassis is split,on taking it back the garage offers me a tired old Forklift truck or a Moped.....If you originally wanted a Ford Focus don't, because the shop did a bad job, now accept a Moped, that is daft! chris o
sorry if it sounds like i am rushing they were not preasuring me or rushing me. these guns are what caught my eye i would just like to know which would be the better gun i think the lincoln is a 30inch barrel with full and full chokes but going to have it bored to quarter and half. it has a polished stock and is a side lock any advice on the guns and what one i should get?
