andythechicken
why are you selling?
steve_b_wales
I'm selling because I already have a .243. The .308 was bought because I thought I would have extra ground to shoot on, plus I was going to use it on wild boar, but none of these materialised. fallowbuck
The .308 is a much better all round deer "Taker" unless you have calibre restrictions on your certificate. Some Police forces go down this road, in the the mistaken believe it limits your "firepower"! If you have the condition on your certificate, I personally with over 30 years of experience, would keep the .308 and sell the .243.
Lloyd90
Na Police wouldn't give Steve an open ticket for his 308 but would his 243 so he's keeping that I believe :yp: Hes a top bloke and someone will definately be getting a bargain
steve_b_wales
Thanks for the compliment. Your're right, in a way. I would have to wait about 6 months before I get an 'open' ticket for my .308. But the reason I am selling it is because I will not be getting any use from it. I was 'promised' new ground etc for deer, but that never happened. And, as I have my .243 anyway, that will do for the little bit of stalking that I will be doing.
