(No, as long as you have a good mix of sweet and sour)
henry d
Uprights are 1m long, of 2"x3" (timber that has been used in the garden and salvaged.) Cross members are 1 1/2"x 2 1/2" to fit a 60cm section of worktop (timber that was spare from an indoor project.) 12mm bolts to fit (from when I built the decking) 600 square section of worktop (Cut from the new kitchen) 2 frames made from spare timber from various projects. One is attached to the worktop to contain the apple juice the other to make the "cheeses". Just need to cut a pressing plate from anothe worktop offcut and I will use the hydraulic car jack to squish the apples

henry d
JRS - No probs mate, however it will be a short while as I am busy until around next weekend. However it will need either a big cam or a top bar that can be lowered to get the most out of it. H, just cut the work top and use a forklift to give it the squish Agricultural it may be but there is no point in just pressing a pound of apples, I`m hoping for 15+ gallons
JRS
i made one once the looked like a giant garlic press , basic but very effective you may have given me an idea what to do with all the spare apples instead of leaving them for the birds and to just rot away , my canaries will only eat so many thanks
henry d
Remember to spread the "pommace" left after squeezing and any rotten/soft fruit to the deer in stubble fields or woods
