I'm so old that my first shotgun licence was purchased at the Post Office when I was 16 - I think it cost 7shillings and 6 pence. 😃

I'm giving up shooting and disposing of my guns. I bought my Ruger 10/22 brand new. It is in excellent condition and has the standard barrel, which is screw cut 1/2UNF and takes the SAK moderator. I fitted a Boyd laminated, LEFT HANDED stock and included sling swivels and a Bisley adjustable recoil pad/butt plate. There is also a Volquartsen (if I remember correctly) bolt buffer, and auto bolt release. The scope is a Simmons Whitetail Classic, 2-10x44 with 1" tube. There is one standard rotary magazine which has steel jaws. You'll need a slot on your FAC for the rifle, and a second slot for the moderator. RFD - RFD transfer available on the basis that you pay your man and I'll pay mine. Asking price: £275
