pigeonblasterian Posted May 23, 2015 Report Share Posted May 23, 2015 Decided to go and have a few hours decoying on some peas that i saw some pigeons on a couple of days ago.I got to the farm this morning and parked up alongside the field and was just having a look round when i heard a bang.I called at the farm and had a word with one of the farmhands and he said he had just put a gas gun on the field this morning.It is a large field so i decided to set up where i could see some pigeons dropping in to the field which was a good 450 metre trek to the other side with all the gear.I had to set up with the wind blowing from my left and facing the sun.It was a nice day out.Most of the birds shot were coming in fast and not seen till the last minute as i was sat back in the edge of a wood to try to get some shelter out of the wind.The peas are only just through and so a bit of time yet to try and get a few more.But ended the day with 20 pigeons and 1 Crow.
