Hi anybody patterned their benelli sbe2 ,i did the other day and was surprised to find it was almost missing the centre circle at 20 yards ,i dropped the stock with the supplied shim and its lowered it a bit but still a tad high for my liking. Spoke to benelli the answer i got was its meant to fire slightly high so you can see what your firing at by aiming slightly below the bird you can see it at all times. I never see my barrel anyway when shooting how would i not see the bird????

I thought about lengthening the stock 10 mm as it feels just a tad short ,what will this do to my point of aim ,ive had conflicting replies from facebook some say high some say it will lower it. Ive made up a 10mm carboard butt pad and sellotaped it on lol going to try it tomorrow.

Factory benelli sbe2,s come with a 25mm butt pad but they do one in 35mm,,,,,,,,,,,, £90 ouch

Hello, this chart will help you out a little .

I am going through a Change of gun myself through this season and even though I have the gun laser sighted to mount bang on dead centre , the gun is still shooting low ( as per the I net review of same) so it looks like an adjustable comb for me after the Season .

Adjust LOP before you purchase another pad or a pad extension, or as I have some strips of leather ( on my comb) .

Hope it helps a bit.

I went to my local gunsmith and he made a shim and plate for me , it now shoots bang on where im looking . The c shim they supply doesnt move the comb down very much .Trying to get a d shim and plate was impossible . Why do these companies not issue the full set of shims ???? MONEY probably the answer to that one when they know the gun shoots so high there will be a market for the shim that doesnt come supplied with a £2000 gun.

Thanks guys for all your help, hit some cracking pigeons with it today
