Chess Problem #2

is this a wind up cos I don't see it.

First move must be a check to avoid a3-b2

If d7xe8 check then rook takes, any queen check after is met by rook or queen to e7 or knight takes queen.

Any rook check is taken.

If it's kosher i'll be interested in the result.

It's not a wind up I assure you. In fact shortly after posting it here I gave the problem to my mate who also likes to play chess. He's a pretty decent blitz chess player with an ELO around the 1800 mark and he solved the problem in a few minutes.

At least one person has already given the correct first move in the puzzle. But no one has figured out the second move as yet. It's tricky, but it's solveable.

You are correct that the first move must be a check, otherwise you yourself are mated in 1 move.
