Any idea who make the "Value" .22 rimfire cartridges that Kranks sell and has anyone tried them ?

SYSS is my best best, used them years ago for all my supplies when pistol shooting, Valkyrie does not supply ammo

Just purchased a couple of rimfires, .17HMR and .22 along with some ammo to get me going, looking to pick up some winchester for the 17 and ely subs for the 22 that unfortunatly my local dealer doesn't stock. Can you guys that are local to me (Rotherham/Sheffield/Doncaster) name any dealers that have a good choice of ammo available without travelling too far afield. as usual, thanks for your input...

Just purchased a pair of Browning T-Bolts, one in .22 and the other .17HMR, Could any owners out there of the same tell me what their findings are with regards to preferred ammo, not a great deal of choice from my local RFD unfortunately and came away with Remington subsonic hollow point for the 22 and Hornady V-max for the 17. Not set the 22 up as yet but had a zero session at 50yds with the Hornady and seems pretty much ok at that range straight out of the box, will be testing longer 100yd when next get chance as was up against the wind and fading light last night. Is it worth the trouble of going down the route of barrels swapsies from .22 to .17 hmr with the 455 or just get one of each rifle? Did have my head set on a HW 17hmr but cant seem to find a decent S/H one so toying with idea of a CZ and looking for both .22 and 17HMR

Yes indeed, but it eludes me why forces would want to "change" an already agreed piece of Government authorised paperwork or issue substantially different ones such as they did with the diversity form.

Not according to South Yorks, http://www.southyorks.police.uk/firearms-licensing-request-forms It appears there are still forces out there not conforming to using the correct paperwork, had issues with regards to the equality and diversity form this end and to which I was informmed by BASC was an "illegal document" that had been sent out, they contacted SYP to put them wise. Just checked gov site for correct 201 and sure enough the "if known" looks to be a South Yorkshire "addition" to the form !

Unless I am mistaken on the 201 form now in use and under the section for referees details with regards to the "date of birth" and the "place of birth" it should also state "if known" so if not known it should not be a problem if left blank so I see no reason why they should have returned it.

That's the HW66 Jagd-Match version at £750 with match barrel and fancy stock, but like you say a call might be worth inquiring on the HW66 "Production" model prices

latest version is the HW66 .22 Production which is in a sporter stock at £529 and again in .17 HMR at £602 prices quoted at Sportsman Gun Centers, Swillington are closest to me and .22 listed at £535 hence reason for not wanting to pay close to that for a used one when can have a new for just a little more

If its the one advertised at £450 I would pass as can buy new for £535

I missed out a couple of weeks back on one of the other forums because renewal and variation was still underway and I didn't want to interfere with the guys sale, even though he offered to save it for me, needless to say it sold relatively quickly..... **** law is what usually occurs so will just keep searching and try to resist the urge to buy new.....
