I don`t go out shooting often. As you can tell. but i choose the .22 over the 177 not regretted the choice. hope to get some more scores on the board soon.

sorry for the delay, i don`t know the area at all, but the ticket lady was very helpfull. think there is a pub nearby that we`ll visit for dinner before the event.

i think you have to buy a card that proves you`re an essex resident, i got a letter as well, but as i only cross the bridge about 5 times a year it wasn`t worth it.

lady was very prompt in sending the tickets out, i told her i`d posted the event on p w, she was well chuffed! oo sorry , that was a bit too essex. i`ll have pw badge on, so hope to meet up with some of you finally.

hi all, got a forehead full of grass flea bites last week. had netting cover over my face and cap on, anyone got any tips ( other than not belly crawling in that field again) on what to stop this? didn`t put any anti gnat on as i thought bunnies might smell me coming. and, i know, don`t show my face for weeks then ask loads of silly questions going to need a reasonably priced night scope for the lightning, suggestions please. cheers

hi ya, which brand of slug powder is that? all my skins so far have been salted or air dried. they stay hard though. i did use oats on cow shin skins and they also went hard and curled under. make sure you get all the fat off the skin, else it stinks. good luck

am tidying it out this weekend ready to sell for £4`000 ono. tax has only just been renewed. mot is due weds, should be ok. heater has never realy worked, looking into how much that would cost to replace. it`s an old van, so not pristine condition. 4 berth, petrol, d reg. will post more details next week. :unsure: van is now at home. had to cancell mot due to battery dying. re booked for next week. 1800cc never had any running problems with it. anyone interested please pm me.

many thanks to all for replies. highseas; have looked through a recipie book i have for cony / rabbit answer. 14c recipie calls for ; rabbit, kid or lamb. therefore young meat. 15c recipie calls for ; cony or hen . so yep, i`ll keep with the way i`m counting. ferretman; i think i`ll pass on the shotgun idea until i`m a bit more, i dunno, possibly confident of my skill, a bit richer, and depending on how often i actually get to use the guns. but i`m not saying no, not just yet.

thought that`d come up soon. it`s a re-enactment thing. a cony is an adult rabbit. not sure if it`s a historical thing, or just the group i work with. should find out really. just my way of keeping it straight in my head. the babies seem to be a bit slow in running away, so i can tell how my shooting is coming on.
