if you got ferrets try asking them if you can go ferretting do that for a while always offer the farmer a choice of the rabbits offer to clean them for him then when you have been ferretting for a while the farmer start to know you a lot more and once you have gained their trust maybe then ask them if maybe someday you can go on with a gun and you may get a supprise they will most likely say YES (would you want a total stranger with a firearm, who you dont know from adam walking around your land if you had any with crops or live stock on it i dare say i would be duvious as to wether to let a total stranger on ,ask your self this question see it from their side ) hope this helps

the tube is made from alliminuim and the baffles are steel

well i went out last night for a couple of hours and took it with me but did not have any subsonic cartridges so i used 2 1/2 inch cartidges and it seemed ok it took away the initial crack away when fired and the was a fair bit noise still but no loud bang the sheep were pretty close to me and they didnt seem bothered by the noise and also the crows in the tops of the trees were a bit wery but they did fly off and soon came back so i guess if the crows arent to worryed about it it seems ok to me it may still need to do a bit more work on the silencer il get my mate to pace out 100 yards and see what the noise is like , as i was close to the woods and there was some echoing noise when fired which may of made it sound louder than it was so il try it out in the open and see what the difference is ive yet to try 2 inch cartridges in it it may be better with those il try them also next time i go out so its looking good so far il keep you all posted of progress and soon as i have got it the way i want it to work il strip it down and take pictures and write instructions so if anyone wants to have a go at making one well so far it has cost me the price of a packet of ciggy`s

well a airgun mod on a shotgun not a good idea as its far to narrow to alow the gasses to expand you need at least metal pipe of at least 1 and 3/4 diameter to allow the gases to expand quickly the one i made has a diameter of just under 2 inches so i would not advise you to try that as the preasure of the gas at the muzzle is far greater than that of any air gun or .22 rf as you dont want any kind of blow back would seem a shame to wreck a good mod for and airgun or rf so dont try that

well looks like he was doing well over the speed limit (idiot) as that wouldnt happen at say 30 or 40 mph unless the car was made from tin foil it may be a lesson to others that speed in that way he could of killed loads of inocent people if there had been any there but i guess there will still be loads of young boy racers who think soon as they pass their test its foot down ears back and go as fast as they can trying to be clever and showing off when they think people watching thinking WOW look at him go in reality they are thinking what an IDIOT some people have been driving for donkeys years and woudnt dream of trying to be clever and we are still alive

well ive never loaded subsonic cartridges before, ive loaded 30 fireformed brass 303`s for my 410 im using 11grains of alliant 2400 powder , rws primers,fibre wads under 14 grams of shot which im going to use to test my home made silencer with just wondering if anyone has loaded subsonics for the 410 shotgun before as ive tryed to get some commercial ones but none the gunshops near me have any any info would be gratefull

maybe time we had another fuel strike when we had the last one and brought the country to a stand still the goverment crapped them selves , but all the same they have managed to increase fuel taxes isnt it about time they reduced it i agree with the guy above why is this country all ways giving millions away to other countrys and the funny thing is they dont have to pay it back why doesnt the goverment help its own people in their own country ,last one i heard was 10 pounds for a mossy net and around 200 million people needing them do the maths this goverment wont even use that kind of money to help their own country (i guess its to make them look big and generous to the other countrys) and no wonder people from other countrys are makng their way to our country so i hope we have another fuel strike its time we all stood up and said NO to all these fuel taxes and stealth taxes wich i think is just their fiddle money to line their own pockets

i never done that before but how about some bolser wood its very light it may do the trick you can get it from most hobby shops

well my mate showed me this and i was intreaged about it its in .22 cal and effective at 10 yards and i thought mmmmmmmmmmmmmm this would be good for shooting in barns and ratting just a shame its slightly over the 12ft lb limit but would it have to be on s/c or f/c it is a smooth bore im going to try and find out if any shops are selling them as i woudnt mind one my self

yep dont worrie your not the first to do it ive also done it and the funny thing was i put my finger over the hole to stop the gas coming out (silly me what was i thinking ) hence had to buy a new one so from now on i defrost the natural way switch off and let it thaw out

hi there sorry i forgot to mention it is all made of metal no plastics what so ever anywhere in sight it looks like plastic pipe as i have wrapped tape around it

well as no one round my neck of the woods sells the silencer for the 410 i decided to set about making one and is now nearly finished all i need to do is to try it out but il do that when i make up some sub sonic cartridges through the week it not the best looking thing i must admit but all being well it should do the trick il post what it is like soon as i have had a chance to try it out and also no big lump is left on the gun when it is removed unlike the commercial ones which leave a big round lump about 2 inches down from the muzzle

yes i agree with the above dont forget the written consent of the land owner aswell
