well seems to me that a bit pricey i would shop around a bit i paid 150 for my cz and was only 6 months old so my full setup cost me 150 for gun 45 for the moderator got scope of ebay for 20quid so for the lot i paid 215quid and worth every penny so i would deffinnatly shop around as 400quid is to much for what they going to give you

well try the wd40 to soak them but if looking out of shape maybe the gun has been abused by previous owner and that would not be a quick fix they would need to be removed at looked at more closely ive not yet come across any that have been out of shape as they usually made from good steel but if you can remove them try cleaning them more with some very fine wet and dry and oil instead of water hope this will help you with your problem

is it an ejector or non ejector try a good dose of wd40 or simalar oil i had same problem on my old hammer gun i gave it a good soaking and kept working the action to free it , maybe it full of dirt and clogged with old oil

hi daz well you need fac to use slugs in any shotgun and also if they are loaded into cartridges but no license is required to own peices of lead as any cartridge with less that 6 peices of shot to the ounce also requires fac

i have a bolt action 410 and they great little guns practicaly indistructable had mine for nearly 15 years now and had no problems with it great for lamping with only draw back with it now is the price of the cartridges but i guess if you get a dozen rabbits when lamping and you can sell them say 1.50 a rabbit =18 quid if you sell them all so pays for cartridges and towards petrol or deisel but if you can reload your own cartridges as i do if even better lot cheaper

maybe i should run for priminister they i could get rich and fat aswell

yes i think all the money the goverment make on other things ,and if they stopped wasting the countrys monies giving it away to other countrys they would be able to reduce fuel taxes etc all prices go up but peoples wages dont go up to cover the rise the goverment put on everything they spent billions on the northen rock and still no different (why didnt they let richard branson take it over ) they did have another bright stupid idea aswell putting the price of a pack of ciggys up to 10 pound a pack saying it would encourage people to stop smoking (they would loss millions there aswell) (i nearly fell off my chair) and the bootleggers will have a feild day as it would encourage more bootlegging (i think they only look after themselves giving them selves stupid pay rises which they dont need its just greed )why not put the money back in to the country and not their pockets anyway thats my opinion im sure a lot you will agree with me

hi monkey well its very true indeed about the wd40 , but a lube is a lube napier lube is a lube (a very thin oil) maybe we shoudnt of mentioned the wd40 anyway,as i did show one of my freinds it on his gun and he been using it ever since any way his gun is a hw80 and il not say the results of the chrono test we done on it (but he was quick to get a silencer for it ) but with out any lube it was under 12ft lb doing around 590fps

well i heard of the pellet lube as my mate had some and i must admit it does work but for the size of the bottle it is expensive in my eyes so one day in my shed i found some 2stroke oil and i just use that and it works every bit better in my airgun or any lube will do i guess even try spraying wd40 in to a tin with a few pellets in so i guess any lube will suffice but you have to try different things to see if they work it all trial and error

our tess our tess born 1992 died 23rd may 2007 from cancer truly mans best friend will be sadly missed by all that know her just thought id put her picture on here so we all can see her she was one in a million she loved being out in the feilds with me and the gun she died in our hands at the vets as we had her put to sleep il never forget her last breath on my hand as she slipped away, we miss her wagging her tail as she greets us as we walk through the door and miss taking her for her walks she will be greatly missed by me and my wife and daughter she was 15 years old when she passed away so we`ll not say good bye to her as she still lives on in our hearts and minds we still love you tess take care as we still have all the happy memorys of you she had a long and happy life with us only wish it could of been longer i dare say she will be watching down on us so take care tess from all of us that love you you all may think im a soppy sod lol but there is a song which when i hear it makes me remember her by the roayal scots dragoon guards song name: your love echoes around the world so i guess il remember her forever

hello all me and a friend both own the same airgun the bsa supersport his has had a new spring put in it and mine still has an old spring in it last night we compared the 2 of them on his chrono when using the logun penatrator pellets they both were more or less the same fps and muzzle energy when we tryed my pellets cheap bulldog pellets there was quite a difference between the 2 guns they are both mk1 superstars has anyone ever came across this before when testing 2 of the same guns before

yeh was pretty warm and sunny up here in north east but reckon we going to get some bad winds etc in the morning

hi landy well i have heard people using those frequencys but of course licensed ham operators but alot of ham radio stuff can be used on other frequencys aswell i have a tait t3000 trunk radio hand held and yes got a couple of ham frquencys in and also 446 mhz channels in aswell i got a few of them but the batterys are all worn out so i modded one to use in the car but if anyone wants any help with radio questions feel free to ask me and il do my best to help you

yes these license free radios only put out about 500mw i use tait 3000 hand sets on 446mhz they put out about just over 4 watts if any one needs any radio programming drop me a pm with make and model and il tell you if i can reprogram them yes cbs are good aswell ideal for in landys etc i used to use them years ago before passing my ham radio exams and i have radios now which i can talk all over the world with when conditions allow and you dont need a license for cb radios anymore aswell

keep your eyes open for a roll crimping tool aswell i managed to get my self one on ebay a couple of years ago and it not half make it a lot easier as before i got it i was using candle wax glues etc but to me it wasnt the same till i got the roll crimper for the 410 one of the best things i have bought aswell i was lucky to get it for a good price as if the guy had listed it as a 410 it would of made a fortune but he listed it as a 12mm roll crimp(exactly the same as a 410 lucky me) i seen one go for well over a 100 quid but i did not pay anywhere near that for mine if i remember right i only paid about 26 quid posted for it soon as i seen it i snapped it up

try on ebay sometimes find them on there thats were i got mine for the 410

well i guess im not fussy i just cut up the middle then open up pull guts out and chop of the legs then move on to next one so on and so on till all rabbits are gutted then i remove the skin on each rabbit seperate the skin from the fur by pushing my fingers between inner skin and the fur once seperated then cut fur and peel it of by pulling in opposite directions which i find the quickest way for me then chop of the head then wash it through and in a bag ready for the frezer on average i guess it takes me about 4 minuites to do each rabbit i guess thats pretty good

hi sam very true indeed but as only peices of lead it is the discretion of the purchaser to hold the appropiate requirement but they made good paper weights i guess or a good talking point or can be used for display purposes only
