  1. I will consider a sprocker when the time comes, I don’t think of them as the same sort of ‘risk’ as a mongrel, as many years ago springers and cockers were apparently in the same litter, with the bigger dogs being used to spring game and the smaller spaniels to hunt woodcock. I wouldn’t consider this a mongrel as I would say crossing two totally different ‘types’. We shall have to see what’s about when the time is right anyways.
  2. What platofrm etc did you use to buy and sell?
  3. I’m just genuinely curious what part of the civil service has had that kind of resource problems etc?
  4. I also read this - it said Bitcoin doesn’t produce anything in regard of income - no dividends etc - so it’s only value is what someone else is willing to buy it for.
  5. I’ll send an email in and see what they say! Cheers gents
  6. Thank you mate ?? I have a letter to inform my own authority and given him one for him to inform his authority. Will get it posted off later!
  7. Right I’ve sold a shotgun to a mate of mine, I’ve filled out one of the lines in “Table 2 - shotguns transferred” with all the details of the gun - my name and address and shotgun licence number. Move got two ‘notification of transfer’ forms all fill in for each of us - one to inform my authority that I sold it and one to inform his authority he bought it. Now - do I need to write anything on my own licence to say I no longer own the gun?
  8. British Land - just checked it says at the current price what I put in it is up 10%. Obviously it has ups and downs though. Ive got another one that was up 8% a month ago, the last few weeks was down 5% - presents back up 1%. Only had my ISA 6 months - will have to see how I’m doing after 12 months. I spoke to my cousin who’s very tech savvy - he writes the code for big tv companies all around the world. He said when asked whether to buy some No... 3 reasons. 1. The buying process is ridiculous. 2. The amount you'd have to spend to make any money now would make it super risky. 3. We do not have a time machine to go back to 2017 or earlier to buy some!
  9. Bloody auto correct! Should have said - “I’ve had” ...

I lived and worked in Lanzarote for 8 months a few years back as an instructor. Lovely island, good weather, nice genuine people who visit there, mostly good food (somewhat limited due to not growing anything) and the best of all ... FIT SCANDINAVIAN WOMEN! It was a great 8 months ?? Unlike us Brits, who wait until it’s out nicest time of year in summer to go on holiday, the Scandinavians go on holiday in Winter, when it’s horrible weather at home. Makes sense to me!
  11. Ask yourself this, are you educationed and experienced enough to recognise when it’s going to have the next dip or crash and get out before it? If you don’t care about losing the money might be worth a punt. What do you want to get back? Move had 8%+ in the last 6 months on stocks and shares ISA.
  12. Wise words Oli... although what a shame if you only ever stuck to what you knew, and never discovered the joys of something different. It probably won’t be until around Summer 2018 so plenty of time to think and choose.
  13. I’ve never had a cocker so fancy trying one, the good reports off you gents is pushing me in their favour. Re a clumber, I think it’s hard enough to find a decent worker regardless but to do it with a breed you know nothing about is just a bit harder. Maybe in the future lol.

  15. Well hopefully after moving house in the coming months I’ll be on the lookout for the next worker. now the Gf has said she wouldn’t mind me having a Cocker because they’re a bit smaller around the house and seem nicer ? now I do fancy getting a cocker but would worry as been told they can struggle on retrieves for cock pheasants or ducks? Most my shooting now is walked up pheasants, the odd bit of duck and hopefully pigeons and crows this coming summer. The walked up shooting I do is what’s pushig me to a spaniel over a lab. What have people with either / both found? Move also been told it’s much easier to train a Springer go a happy standard.
  16. What’s your job and what do you mean by ‘turn it on’ ? I guess it depends on the legality of your reason for the threat / statement. Ive had some very dangerous situations at work with people coming at you with knives etc and had to tell them “you keep coming with that this is only going to end one way... with you on the floor...” this is all whilst awaiting Police assistance who are on the way. In your work If someone claimed you’d threatened them, and took this to the Police etc, do you think the Police and ultimately a Judge would accept that you were “just pretending to threaten” or “turning it on”??
  17. Some of us deal with extreme confrontation situations for a living. Im perfectly capable of keeping my cool in dangerous situations I think I know how to behave just fine thanks ??
  18. If you can’t control your temper and behave like an adult then you shouldn’t have a licence. Its nothing to do with being ‘whiter than white’. You think it’s acceptable to shout and threaten and swear at people when you don’t get your own way? Then as a rational and law abiding person you should go through the proper legal process to challenge this if you think it’s wrong. Where is being abuse to the shop owner going to help? Sounds like the reasoning powers of a child at work.
  19. Where is it confirmed they slow them on purpose? Old hardware running new software and programme surely isn’t going to be as fast (or even work). How many old computers can run today’s software? And when you look at the technology going into new models etc its amazing. I remember having a Blackberry and first being able to go online with that. Before that I remember Nokia 4210’s playing Snake. Now I can do all my banking, messaging, Facebook, lookup academic work, legislation, any knowledge you ever need, YouTube, Netflix, FaceTime people on the other side of the planet.
  20. I’d polite inform him any further being threatening and abusive will be reported to the Police. Then remind him as per the conditions of the law it is HIS responsibility to have his SGC when collecting his gun. The gun is not faulty and he is welcome to come collect it during normal shop opening hours.
  21. I think he meant to say ‘It is NOT illegal’ but seems to have had a typo
  22. Can I ask why have all that work done then sell it? What does it group like? not having a pop mate I imagine any potential buyer would be wondering...
  23. Kids for you mate, it’s not until your much older and developed you understand empathy and the much finer emotions and people’s feelings etc. Could always take all his presents away though, tough lesson to learn lol.
  24. Oh, lovely job send me one to test if you want, I need to see if it would even fit my scope rings lol
