  1. And then you’ll be on them? Lol
  2. CCJ and criminal record to her name should hopefully stop her doing it again. Lots of people can’t be ***** to register the CCJ and the person just jumps from House to House doing it over and over. Some of those bailiffs also seem to be pretty good at finding debtors so best of luck mate.
  3. I’ve told my GF next year I’m doing Xmas day in hw children’s home working - mostly so I don’t have to spend it down her parents ??

  5. I know people get away with stuff like this all the time but I really fail to see how that’s not a criminal offence to be followed up by the Police. Blatant theft. What area and type of person were you renting to mate? Mid they never paid any bills etc how did they pass the credit and employment checks? Or did you not have one?
  6. I just can’t believe some people get into thousands of pounds of debt for it. I would hazard a guess that it’s the same people who also get into thousands of debt to go away on two holidays a year, have all the designer clothes and gear and latest iPhones though.
  7. Pain ain’t it mate - it’s a lovely scope for deer stalking upto 200 yards - put the dot on the vital area and job done. Juat no good at all working up reloads.
  8. Where did you pick it up mate? I’ll keep an eye out
  9. That same scope on Uttings is priced at £599 so wherever you got it for £450 appears a bargain!
  10. I see yours says CDS. Assuming it has the exposed factory turret that you can dial? Whats the score with the custom dial? I heard you send off your details and they send you your first custom dial for free as it’s included in the scope price? Where did you get yours please mate
  11. Apologies I keep asking - but I do fancy something with a external turret that can be dialled in and keep finding different things to annoy you all about. Was originally looking at the new GEN 2 PST Vortex Viper but have recently seen the Leupold VX3i - 30mm side focus 4.5-14x40/50mm - have found them new for around £750 VS the PST for around £975. The scope is for a hunting rifle and I just fancied pushing the limits with trying to hit targets in the field - no competitions or full on target shooting. Unsure what to go for, or even to just leave as is. Currently have a MEOPTA Artemis 4-12 with FFP - only issue is it’s a dot centre so at full zoom the dot covers too much of the target even at 100 yards! I started reloading about a year ago but it’s hard to see which powder load etc is best when the dot covers half the bloody target!
  12. Just getting the barrel cut down would be by far the simplest option depending on if you like your current rifle?
  13. How do you rate the Leupold VX3i ?? The low turrets appeal to me as a duel purpose target / hunting scope
  14. I thought he’s gone to one of those ‘pray away the gay’ retreats until after Xmas... lol
  15. You don’t need to cut the end off to open it up. Before that, do you even know what the current chokes are? I suspect not.
  16. Anyone used the above scope? Mom looking to maybe get the 5-25 FFP model. also has anyone used McAvoy Guns? They seem to have the scope around £100 less than optics warehouse many thanks Lloyd
  17. And only fire it at special ranges or is there any other reason for firing it and where you can fire it? Assuming you can get the ammo?
  18. Are you still allowed / able to fire antique guns like this? Just interested really
  19. No worries Ed, I wouldn’t mind pics either of you have them? Lloyd

    Doctors ?

My family tend to go private for lots of things now, you get treated like a human being. They see you quickly, get the right diagnosis and can’t wait to have you back in. Funny that when your paying them for the service eh.
  21. I would get this picked up for my new house if you can wait until after Xmas?

    Heads up

Are they wool? Lots of socks make my legs itch does my head in. Need some good socks for wellies too as normal ones can slip off your foot!
  23. Good thing about it is you can always draw it early, it just effects how much you get paid out. Also a variable lump sum you can leave with.
  24. I know lots of people who’ve opted out of the council pension as they don’t believe it’ll still be going when they come to retire. Despite that I’ve also read that the local government pension scheme is one of the best to be in (mine are in the Avon scheme) so bit unsure what’s best really.
