Thinking about the circumstances on that film I would have put the children on a car roof out of reach for starters.
Yep or in the car would be safer again

Would you even want one off her?
I can’t imagine shes spent untold hours picking the perfect match for dam and sire ... id bet money she just used someone she knows locally ...
Good point ! .
My last dog jess was a springer x gwp she worked her heart out for me from day one until she passed suddenly 13yrs later .. she was from a lad I shot with and owned both parents I paid £150 for her .
I didn't really mind that she was a cross and therefore no papers etc I was just happy to have what turned out to be the best dog I've had

A friend of my sons girlfriend has a litter of sprocker pups she contacted me 2 nights ago to say she's "dropped them to 2k to help get rid of them " ...... hopefully she's gets lumbered with a couple and I'll get one for a song ...
I'm missing not having a dog but financially I'm strapped and just physically can't afford one for the foreseeable future

The right answer, but I think shooting a dog in an attack situation would be very difficult and dangerous.
Completely agree bud that's why I said if the circumstances permitted and it was 100% safe to do so to save a child or adult from being savaged

A gamekeeper mate of mine has shot a dog for actually killing 3 sheep on the estate he keepers on . We we're driving around the estate in kubota and came across the horrible scene the dog a rotty cross was in a what can only be explained as a frenzy there was owners in sight anywhere so a 85gr .243 ended it . The dog had no collar on . We informed the police who came and removed the dog and photographed the dead & injured sheep.
He got a call a couple of weeks later that the dog was not chipped , no one had reported losing it

I do not know but wondered this same question yesterday. Two dogs (some sort of bulldog/staff is cross) had got loose and came through the woods onto my dad’s land. They had attacked some other people in the woods I could just about hear and see but decided not to get involved. We were playing rounders. The dogs snapped and snarled at the children and out dogs. I saw them on their way. My BIL shooed then on further and they went for him so I cracked one (under arm) with the rounders bat in my hand. They yelped and disappeared off. I know you are not meant to leave base with the bat, but in the scenario it was justified. I said to my BIL that the funny thing was if they were chasing my sheep rather than my children I could have rightly shot the dogs on the spot.
I've been mulling it over most of the night after viewing the video and came to my personal answer that I would if the circumstances permitted be prepared to put my ticket at risk and probably get nicked and shoot the dog

I my opinion the grossly over inflated prices fueled by idiots buying them as an excuse to be able to get round the lock down are stopping people (like me) who can't afford 3k for a Mongrel from giving a dog a good home

Back to the dog attack that was terrible .
How would you stand if you killed the dog ?
Or knocked it unconscious with say a .... trolley jack handle or breaker bar from the boot of your car ?
Coz if I came upon that situation I'd be very tempted to do the dog harm . It most definitely needs putting down and the owner prosocuted in court

its very easy to price what you have ...........go to the whiskey auction website and go back thro the previous auctions...............each make has a section
what i will say.......
- the neck level is important
- the seal needs to be 100% intact
- condition needs to be reasonable
- with box if possible
Its in its original box the top still has the plastic cover over it and around the neck it has never been opened

I don't drink no longer due to the meds I take ...

If I were to take a chainsaw down and give them 5 mins to get down before I start to cut the legs of the structure I'd get done more then they will .
Everyone has the right to eat what ever they want BUT what really P,s me off when morons try to force Thier choices down the throats of everyone else !!.
A few yrs back a small group of antis had set up a table (probably without permission) with some really old pictures of "foxes killed by hunting people with dogs" one of the idiots with hair that wouldn't look out of place on a scarecrow wearing a wooly jumper 10x too big for him with holes in it stopped me and asked " excuse me what do you think of this" whilst showing the pics .... I looked at each one in turn and replied " *%©*%** brilliant you moron " and walked off ..

If your going down the chemical fix route STEELSEAL is about the best I've heard of and used .not in my vehicles I always repair properly (I'm a mechanic) but a mate had a old corsa that he knew was not going to pass next mot and had 6 months tax & test left to run so we put 2 bottles of steelseal in following the instructions and it was still running ok when he scrapped it when the test ran out

Nice looking bit of kit
I doubt ones built today will last as long and look as good as that one does.
Very jealous ....

I've checked the mot history and there's no advisors for corrosion in any of them ... last mot it failed on inoperative lights .

I'm only paying £500 for it off a family member..

Yep..... if approx 90% of residents are black , white , pink or purple in an area it by statistics seems reasonable to assume that a high % of criminals / gang members will be that colour and involved in a vast majority of criminal activity .
But undoubtedly someone somewhere will play a racist card.
