If your going down the chemical fix route STEELSEAL is about the best I've heard of and used .not in my vehicles I always repair properly (I'm a mechanic) but a mate had a old corsa that he knew was not going to pass next mot and had 6 months tax & test left to run so we put 2 bottles of steelseal in following the instructions and it was still running ok when he scrapped it when the test ran out

Nice looking bit of kit
I doubt ones built today will last as long and look as good as that one does.
Very jealous ....
-
I've checked the mot history and there's no advisors for corrosion in any of them ... last mot it failed on inoperative lights .
Advisory on 2 tyres .
It's only going to be for shooting and tip runs ect .
Got my audi avant for running round in .
I'm only paying £500 for it off a family member..
-
As above on a 04 plate .
Old I know but its only going to be my shooting bus / take rubbish to the tip vehicle . Its just had new discs & pads all round new tyres 2 months ago engine & box fine ... I'm getting for peanuts . Anyone got any opinions on them
Good or bad let me know

Don’t worry. I’m due a couple of million US $ from a Nigerian Prince I’m helping out, so I’ll pay for a solicitor.
Thanks I knew I could count on the P.W. community for help ... (I thought I'd covered all my tracks when importing all those .50 cal fully auto tasers but it looks like I didn't...... damn)

The new system is carp.
I sold an item for £110 + £15p&p (heavy item 5kg insured next day ) total £125. They now take their cut from the grand total not just the price item sold for
Ebay took £18 and I still had to pay post out of what was left. And I have to wait up to 4 days for payment .
I will never sell any thing on there again !

Damn to far and to much for me to contemplate a trip down by time I pay someone to bring me down and fuel for both...
Never mind keep looking

Do you have both pieces ?
I'm pretty sure my mate could knock you a couple up on his lathe ...

Price £70 ....

Have an as new one of these up for swaps . I put it on my 1022 yesterday and zeroed it to 70yds and it shoots cock on as in pic .
Top arrow was a bit of a flyer bottom arrow is 4 rounds at 70yds..
https://www.cumbriasportinggun.co.uk/products/hawke-panorama-ev?variant=270675146.
Comes in original box with flip up covers and cloth .
I don't really like the reticle on it .
So if anyone has a comparable scope in value and magnification and fancies a swap let me know
Or sell for £95 + p&p
Pics of actual scope on my 1022

I once done one (can't remember what machine it was) I measured the thickness of the old gasket with digital caliper rounded it up to the nearest mm and got some copper plate and used that .... fixed it no problems

Nice to read between the lines that your still upbeat mate.. stick in there.
I was at hosp on tue gone having a colonoscopy as 2 weeks ago I was at gp with really bad stomach pains and blood in my poo he sent off a stool sample and it came back +ve for bowel cancer . On tue they removed some polyps which one of them looked suspicious (his words) so they took another 7 biopsies along the length of the colon & sent them off for testing as well .
Got the R.V.I ringing me on monday about the skin cancer thing on my right cheek.... after sending them some close up pics yesterday ....

Unfortunately the swear filter won't let me put my real thoughts.....
A few years back a family member from down kent who worked in the police dog unit was on his way home from work with his Belgian shepherd when he seen a leader of the local travelers community that had a warrant out for his arrest driving the opposite direction in a stolen 4x4 .
He swung round and followed him calling in as he did .
He followed him up to the entrance of the site he was boss of and was not aware the van behind him a few cars back was also going there. He was surrounded and pretty badly beaten up as was his dog but thankfully the dog managed to bite a few of them before being knocked out .... the good news is that very quickly the police piled in and arrested a few inc the leader . Both my family member and the dog had to have emergency medical attention .
6 of them got prison time as the forensics matched his dog bite marks .....
He now heads up a special team investigating travelers ....

Mike sorry to hear that news and apologies on late response to the info ... It's took me a bit time to grapple with it ... lime I've said the last 2yr has just been bad news after bad news then your news was just more poop on the pile. ....losing my sis & finding her the way I did is still a bit raw . And to top it off Tuesday I got some news off the Dr (no where near as serious as yours)but still a bit of a gasp moment the small 6mm lump on my right cheek is suspected form of skin cancer that needs referred to the skin specialist for removal ....
This getting old shut is a pain

Do people really fall for this stuff?
YES..... thankfully not as many these days as it is quite well reported ... but when new scams arise they always get a few victims before the word gets around..

Decking looks great when it's new but it's a bloody nightmare to maintain.
Completely agree ....
If I ever meet Mr Titmarsh he's in for an ear bashing..
S.W.M.B.O watched a LOAD of his "garden make over " programmes which resulted in me hand digging out 18t of clay/soil and laying a 30' x 30' flagged patio and building a bespoke shaped decking around it ... she wanted painted mid-grey colour .... ok .... but looking at after 1 winter it's going to need a good wash to get rid of the green poop all over it . The paint £45 for 5ltr says its good for min 5 yrs but we'll see once washed down
