  1. Read this post so popped down my local Aldi store and they had them marked up still for £26 Im sure my local store manager must be a bit dodgy or summit as they where adament they where still £26 and wouldnt reduce it
  2. Im shooting crediton this sat as its a sporting shoot this weekend
  3. Wander if that means eley's will go up to as they make them? (not that i use them)
  4. Takes the mickey. How does anyone catorgarize (spell) what 3 years of wear and tear is on a car and how could you define it??? Excess mileage speaks for itself but 16k in 3 years is hardly anything so where you on a low mileage deal or something?
  5. You'll never see pigeons of any great quantity down this neck of the woods mate. You may see a big flock or 2 around but after a shot they soon disappear. We really arent in a good location for any decent pigeon shooting for numbers unfortunatly.
  6. I live close to the Exeter shop and never had any probs as such but ive never ordered anything they havent had in stock as such altho i know a friend has had probs with a jacket that never seemed to arrive after waiting several months.
  7. Prob not but it maybe the scope if its been knocked? As said first check the obvious like screws etc.Its normally something silly and its easy to get to technical to quick for probs and overlook the obvious. The .223 does wear the barrel quick compared to some other calibres but certainly not in 600 odd shots. Could the powder makers have changed/upgraded ingredients if its a new can or even got damp?Different weight bullet heads?
  8. Yup outskirts of Exeter.... Got a decent amount of rough shooting and vermin control and also hit the clays most weekends to.
  9. I guess i can post it thomas if we come to an arrangement.I believe im allowed to post it arent i?Not to clued up on air rifle laws!
  10. Right handed and located in Exeter Devon Thanks Mark.
  11. Aya yeoman o/u single trigger ejector fixed choked 1/4 and 1/4 in reasonable order.Barrels externally have worn on the blueing but everything else is in pretty good nick. Its a good gun that shoots straight and ive used it mainly for bird/vermin shooting but im after a 3" chambered semi auto for wildfowling. Looking for around £220.Certificate holders and collected only.
  12. No probs m8, also the trap guns tend to have a slightly larger and wider foreend normally beavertail whereas the sporter is narrower type called a shnabel.
  13. Air arms tx200 carbine model which i believe is the hc model? .22 calibre.Walnut oiled stock etc and fitted with a 4x40wa scope.Extremely accurate high powered air rifle. Was serviced last year in good condition and wood very good. Any questions please ask. Looking for £140 and collection only from Devon. I barely use it anymore so seems a bit pointless keeping it and i need to get a 3" chambered semi auto for the wildfowling. OK lets try and post some pics up
  14. Im getting them fine here in Devon at the moment to.
  15. A trap gun usually shoots higher due to having a high comb.A trap gun also tends to have a straight comb so wherever you position your head along the stock the sight picture still stays the same whereas a sporter tends to have a sloping comb. Trap guns usually have fixed tighter chokes around 3/4 and full and most sporters are now multichoke although fixed choke are available tends to be around !/4 and 1/2.
  16. Personally i shoot em this time of year as they eat the pheasant eggs etc (but probably not as much as weasals in my opinion) but tend to leave them alone later in the year. I think its more down to the person involved really, some people dont and some do.Sometimes if there arent exactlly there in big numbers many dont tend to panick and leave them alone.
  17. The lanber is scary when it comes to how they restrict it to the 3 shot side. Its certainly not ideal!!!!! Best i dont say anymore than that.Mines a 5 shot. I havent suffered any kick whatsoever.Ive got the wood stock version tho. I got a good deal by the sounds of things as i paid similar price to a new hatsan escort.Im quite lucky tho the 3 gunshops near me all know me pretty well so tend to get some good deals.
  18. <urgently awaits pics of an urban camo'ed GJUK lol
  19. If its not steel proofed its not ideal in my eyes considering you need non toxic shot for wildfowl. It will cost you if you constantly shoot bismuth or hevi shot. I shoot wildfowl but never use 3" carts as i feel they are only really needed for 40yd geese etc as you can get 42gram 2 3/4 carts fairly reasonable. Choke keys are cheap enough. I would agree with mc that you keep looking tbh tho.
  20. Normally buy eley ct fibres for the 20b and never had a problem. Also using up old winchester AA's and some 5 shot gamebore carts ive had laying around for years. As said you will always shoot better with a cartridge you find you have confidence in tho. As for patterns etc remember a 20 bore shooting an oz load will pattern tighter than a 12bore using the same choke.Dont get stuck in the trap of thinking you need a tight choke just because its a 20. You have an oz of lead starting out form a tighter constriction than a 12 bore so it will naturally pattern tighter with a longer shot string.
  21. Exactly how bad is the stock mate? Its suprising what you can do and bring them back to life. As for chokes i assume its got the external type thread choke? The barrels are interchangable between the 301/302/303 so i would keep your eye open for a 303 barrel and replace it. Ive used mid west guns before and they have lots of replacement spares you maybe interested in.They are american but never had any problems with them. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/c...tta-303-shotgun
  22. Ah so there are some in existerance around then lol Ive never had a problem with the weight of guns so i dont notice it tbh.Looking at the weight its only 6.8ib tho.It was just bought to use as a cheap gun whilst on my own when feeding up etc and not worrying about knocking or scratching it. I use a 32" browning trap gun (9ibs) for normal shooting when in company and walking around with others whilst bird shooting. http://www.lanberusa.com/ingles/semiautomaticas.htm
