right first of i have not read the whole thread so this may have already been mentioned first of if lead is banned i will buy a shot maker and reloading gear and reload mine as i do not like steel shot because first i do not find it dispatches birds properly and second i think it is very dangerous . what concerns me the most is shooting ground game /pests steel has a bad tendency to ricoshay how long is it going to be before some one gets wounded how are air rifles and live rifles going to be able to take steel bullets or other types of metal and how will it perform steel can be used through all shotguns as long as a plaz wad is used

well since it is a nice evening i decided to keep the windows open first i had a pigeon fly into to the big tree then 10 minutes later a magpie turned up so had him to he is down but fallen into the top of the cunnifers so no pitcher of him these were taken at about 17 yards pigeon had its back to me so was taken very cleanly do not think i would have taken the shot if it had the chest towards me

yes mate take your licence and pass port the gun shop will ask for both of theses they will phone the french authorities <do not know who they phone but they do >and it will all be ok DO NOT try to smuggle them through customs as they will know about them . hand them to customs and declare them they will be taken from you and given back to you on the other side . never had a problem before and do it at least twice a year if you go near lambell look for a little place called pledalic theres a good gun shop there in the village you can not miss it and they speak a bit of english always closed on a saturday

to be honest i do not think a 9mm will take a squirrel out it would have to be very close range

?? why do you need that for mate if you dont mind me asking as you might be better of with copper slip you get a better tempeture range and its cheeper and better but it depends on your use for it

so how many of you own a unusal gage shotgun ie 36 gage 24 gage 26 gage or 18 gage been looking through the internet seems there a few weird gages out there

hard to find diffrent size shot but fiocchi do shot sizes from no 5 no 6 no 7 1/2 and rws do a double load shot of no10 stick to the 7 1/2 mate there great for pests and a good pattern

I would recommend staying away from the bsa tactical think you can get better for your money

lol yer mate we keep a couple of sticks in the tackle box for when the fishing gets bad . no that sort of fishing has never gone on here i think your thinking of the wrong islands

correct mate they pulled them from the list about 15 years ago clubs have tried to get them back on the list but with no success .jersey the next island across the water have also got a worse law then us it is strickley prohibited to shoot ANY birds .you want to see how many phesants are on that island

I do not shoot hares/deer/foxes/squirrels/mink/stouts/as there are none on the island also duck/goose/sea gulls/ as there illegal to shoot and very protected

i have got a tin of rabbit magnums come in tins of 200 used around 10 no good through a 12flb gun only good for fac rated guns only just paid £8 for them as i was querious they look like 22 bullet heads fourm rules state a price so £500 FOR THE TIN LOL only joking if any one wants them pm your address and ill send them to you if not there going in the bin
