they are gas pipe fittings cut at an angle then welded onto steel plates, the gas pipe comes with a taper thread so when you tighten them up it stays tight, the whole table breaks down and fits into the boot of a normal car

I give up,just becasue you are happy doesnt mean others are,its a big wide world out there and people expect different things, why comprimise on accuarcy when by simple techniques and using different items you can better one self. I know old timers "no offence" who would only shoot at 100 yards and be happy to hit a dinner plate, with a bit of help they get more confident and are then amazed at what be attacheived even though they may have been shooting or reloading for 30 years. I take people out with me and let them shoot at targete at serious distance, once they have had a bit of coaching there amazed at what "they" can do things move on,just like anything in life, confidence in yourself and your equipment is key -
your most welcome the table I made is superb the 3 legs is key as you can pop it up anywhere and any ground,I use it a lot for load development and have even used it at Bisley on the 600 yard range,it got a lot of interest

its not a case of being a "tackle tart" I like to save a penny as much as the next man,but what you fail,,to grap is "thiungs move on" the quality of rifle building = more accurate the quality of factory ammo = better consistancy with reloading its moved on massive over the past 10 years, people now know you havnt got to accept a 4 inch group, you can do better by modern reloading techniques. powder, bullets, primers have all got better, which means much better performance and accuracy can be attacheieved, its OK you saying your happy with your results and you dont need anyhting else bat LEE,obvioulsy you havnt made the jump to better yourself, this is OK if your happy but telling others to stay at that level isnt right, you must tell the whole story I have never said LEE gear wont make resonable ammo,it will.BUT with modern time and modern techniques one can do better. if you dont wnat to move with the times that fair enough but dont knock people or advcie people not to do it I still use cheapo dies for certain peoples calibers I reload for they work well but there not LEE you dont need to spend a fortune to get the best out of your rifle, just use decent stuff which will last a life time. -

thats a good one "dont shoot too much" I wont lower myself to reply as i will only be accused of willy waving just because you are happy with your results using LEE and we all know what that is 4 inch at 100 yards "some" people do want better. theres an old saying "buy once buy right" -
is that the stainless steel one ?? if so I will give it a go is pay pal OK

not on my own Iam afraid there are people who want better results,if your happy thats all that matters by the way "no one said you were wrong" and i have no use for ball bearing Iam afraid but a nice Forsters press would be helpfull -

Mmmmmmmmmmm Ive seen these "my gun shoots 1/2 groups" guns before then the usual excuse is "well it did it last last" look if you and others like LEE thats no problem as I have always said "it will produce ammo" the consistancy of this ammo is another story. after starting with LEE and finding out the hard way I wouldnt give it shelf space.but thats just me I like consistant accurate ammo -

ell Iam afraid your "feeling" couldnt be more wrong, been there use it got the T shirt and broke it,seen it many many times people starting with LEE and binning the lot but what do I know about reloading -
you could always wire the place there working while your still in bed
-
there is really no answer as a fox can be active at any time of the day, persoanlly I would try just before first light catching them coming back into the woods,if you do your ground work espeically now the snow is down you should be able to see what route thet are taking

its is the most basic of kits you can buy,you will load ammo but to what standard and consistancy is to be seen, yes you will end up binning the lot as it will either break or you will get fed up of inconsistant ammo. as to your case bin them as there nickel plated and they dont re size very well at the end of the day buy once buy right,or pay a trusted reloader to load you a batch which will last a while and cost you less in the long run if you want to use a light bullet at lkeast go for a 65gr pill it will perform much better,if you need any help feel free to PM me -
changing primers can make a difference mate,if your not on the top end of a load you will be OK just to change and re zero you will find the the primers are remmy 9.5 your groups should be better there an excellent primer,I did some test with some not long back and my groups shrank to sub 1/4 inch I have just loaded some in my mate 260 AI which again reduced the groups, load a couple up and try them before you make a batch, becarefull not to listen to the old timers who havnt got a clue about modern reloading as everything you change "can" but not always make a difference let us know how you go on
-
wrong again mate, knowing and understanding basic ballistics makes you a great shooter, obviously you dont need to improove seeing you dont need a range finder and you never miss, your some talented guy.you make people like the warrener look like an beginer

Ackley replied to tinytim38's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
back peddling are we again I ask "show me the post where Iam recomending loading 1 thou off the lands" novice shooters should take advice of people who actually know and have experience of modern relaoding tecniques instead of old dinosaurs who still live in caves by the way you have obvioulsy "MISSED" no one has given any advice just ststing what jump there OWN bullets are making -

total rubbish, you need to use quailty bullets and quailty dies, and do the usual powder tests for pressure, its that simple,by the way my reamer is made with zero free bore do you know anything about precission reloading Iam not btalking about your 4 inch group at 100 yards and using LEE ****,you can run any rifle 1 thou of the lands if you have the right chamber to allow the bullet to be gripped in the case enough "soft seating" is the best way to seat a bullet as its the same every single time, but you cant do that with a hunting rifle incase you have to unload it, -
how far off the lands do you set your bullets??
Ackley replied to tinytim38's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
because he dont know any better and just wants to argue over something hes knows nothing about accuracy is usually found the closest to the lands if you can get a bullet that close that is,this is why factory rifles struggle as they have long throats -

wind you neck old lad, please "show" me were I recomended it,if you cant shut up,theres good lad the question was "how far off the lands do you seat your bullets" notice the words "YOUR BULLETS" hence my reply of 1 thou off,by the way theres nothing wrong with seating a bullet 1 thou off the lands or even running with 10 thou of "jam" but I dought you undrstand what that is -

Iam no expert only having mated my bitch once,I found the bitch has to be ready (standing) before she will accept the dog, this is why you have to get your dates bang on or visit the dog every day around the dates, this is why most leave the bitch with the dog for a few days. if the dog is struggling getting it in you may have to give it a helping hand guiding it into the correct place
