taken this morning from my high seat,I dont usually take a camera with me but I was feeling lucky.shouldnt have bloody bothered as all I saw was squirrels,hares and pigeons,should have taken my better camera to catch a woodpecker at work. was a nice morning even though I didnt get one but my mate did

its called "culling" mate,another one that wont be eating the farmers crops,better to take the youngster than the mother and let it starve

well we have all been young once but was unable to do things we wanted,if it helps the lad and fires up his interest its worth the effort.

Hi just a couple of questions,how far is the full bore out too and how many targets aslo the simulated stalk how many targets and how is it scored

you are not allowed to lens or borrow anyone a firearm,I think you have to be 17 to have an FAC,if you know someone with an FAC they may allow your son to have a shot with there rifle under there close supervision but not advicable at anyhting live,not untill he can hit targets first,so a day on the range would be most helpfull to him sorry to ask but why cant you get an FAC or wouldnt you like to say,but I know of people with very bad history who has been granted a ticket,unless you have been done for armsed robbery or other firearm offensive you may be surprized

not really I keep things for reference in my favourites,they come in handy to educate people now and again,

yes it will help and depending on your force may not make you have a mentor,the more experience you can show the better it will be good luck

not been dorr knocking for quite a while,just called in as the farms are opposite land I already shoot told the farmer Ive seem foxs in with his sheep and lambing will soon be on us his words were "get tham shot" the foxes not the lambs before anyone jumps in went next door and he said the same

you wont get refused a mod anyway,you havnt got to put a reason down,unlike years ago it was like asking for the crown jewels

Just been out for a plink around my permissions and picked up another 2 farms side by side and to top it off shot 2 magpies 254 and 191 yards,cant beat it

cracking link must have taken you ages to find it its sums up nothing really only that if your happy to shoot 1 MOA thats fine,BUT some poeople want better or is this wrong just because 1 MOA is acceptable in fact 4 MOA is accepted at 100 yards. depends on what you want as an individual but please dont tell people its OK to be satified with it as some people want better. one question a yes or no will do,is it wrong to try and better yourself in your chosen sport just likje any game shooter they strive to hit longer and faster birds,is this wrong or do we all have to stay at the same level just beacsue the "old timers" say thats all the hight your need ?? same applies to rifle shooting, by the way I have "NEVER" proclaimed to be an expert so please refrain from trying to be funny by saying such things,beleive it or not some people do want to better themself and there equipment,if they didnt they would be all like you and few others,no offence ment by the way but as Chuck Hawks agrees "only accurate rifle are interesting"
