Good news guys, I took the skull along to get it provisionally scored today and it got 142 points, well into gold medal. It was a whopping 28cm long too! Even when it's fully dried it should still score gold, I'm well chuffed Hate to sound thick but what the hell do you mean Mark ? Mike

Any luck with the pigeons lately been driving around but no joy, so i have been concentrating on crows quite good fun decoying them got more that expected missed loads think that was because i was so surprised it worked. First time ive tried decoying trying different things to give me confidence when i go after the pigeons. does it work the same for both. hopeing to pick up new car next week so will be doing a few miles to get the feel of it. keep in touch will post soon as i see anything interesting. Ive fancied seeing if i could decoy crows so today went to one of my farms that had just cut and bailed a field of hay. Quess what the next question is? Whats a retrieve strong band? from one of Hubertus earlier posts explaining the broad collars his dogs wear. Mike On that is written the telephone number. If we do have big driven days on deer and boar the dog hunt themselve. They run many kilometers on their own. Especially when they follow a wounded animal. Sometimes they dont find back. Then somebody can phone us when he got the dog. The second reason is for safety to prevent that the dog wil be shot. When they are running in thick wood they look a little bit similar to boar. Then you see the collar. Every hunting dog while hunting have to wear that (by law). There are also special reflecting vests for dog. Hubertus

they changed the trigger to a curved one on some, i believe you can get either .I had it only on standard as i have the theoben MK2 on FAC i never cleaned the pellets or barrel put drop of lube in pellet tin thats all. it had a standard barrel and theoben silencer. I must admit i have had the barrel on my mk2 threaded and fitted a weihrauch silencer and find that is quieter. I did like the looks of the MFR just did not like the trigger. Mike

Hi Nashty i have had the MFR but not the S type the good points about the MFR . 1) not to heavy to carry about all day in the field hunting. 2) found mine not to pellet fussy i used magnums and accupells no problems. 3) the fact you did not have to refill bottle every 5 min (300 shots per fill) Bad points. 1) mine was one of the originals with a straight bar trigger no matter how i tried i could not get on with it just did not feel right somehow. Traded it in after 8 months for a Falcon T-Bird Mike PS forgot to add very quiet / nice to handle good balance when you put it to shoulder to shoot. :(
