Hi mate, just bought a new safe in the last two weeks myself. Looked about for a while and the cheapest site was 'the pigeon shooter'. I got a 6-7 Brattonsound volt safe for £126 with delivery costing just a fiver! I don't think it was much more for the top locking version either. Might be worth a look ATB Mick

Another vote for Essex Gun from me. Bought my Beretta fom them, very helpful and the cheapest around

These are cracking little air rifles mate. Reasonable price, reliable and very accurate. They are often on here in the 'for sale' section. I sold mine on here recently. I would thoroughly recommend these rifles ATB Mick

That does seem like a lot of money. What carts did you buy?

The Gold E is a great clay gun but the Guerini looks much nicer If I was choosing between the two I know where I would be looking first.

Nice, simple answer that

I think the best plinking targets are flies when they are brave enough to land on your paper target. I hit one from 30 yrds with that very rifle that your using How are you getting on with it mate? All the best, Mick

NOW SOLD to Scot The Sniper Thanks

As above mate. Friend of mine got one of these which works well on rabits with a rifle but is useless on the pigeons. You cannot see above your head and they also make it difficult to swing the gun. My mate has sold his now as it was a waste of time. Stick to the net and poles Mick

Thanks for clearing that up mate, I know nothing about rifle scopes. It's a very good sight picture though

If I'm totally honest mate, I don't know. I have looked on their website and think it does Have a look here: http://www.mtcoptics.co.uk/Technical/Mamba%20catalogue.pdf ATB Mick

For sale is my MTC Mamba 3-12 x 44 RIR rifle scope. It is about 6 months old and other than being on my Air Arms S400 for about two weeks, it's never been used. I sold the rifle with another scope and this went back into it's box. As you would expect, this is in as new condition with all the paperwork and accessories that it came with. It has the SCB style reticule which can be illumintated with the battery which is included. This model is the same as the Viper but will lower turrets making it better for hunting etc... It is suitable for all types of rifle, from air gun to heavy calibre hunting rifle. I paid £187.90 for this and am looking for £130 or near offer. Any questions please feel free to ask. ***SOLD*** Mick

Cartridges for quarry and clay
Marley29 replied to smiiithy's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
Same here I have used 28g # 7.5', White Gold's on pigeon and they worked absolutely fine. I generally use 1/4 and 1/2 chokes and the birds die the same as any other cart out to sensible ranges. They are also perfect for shooting clays. You can shoot all day long without any discomfort Generally speaking if your gonna be shooting pigeons the majority of the time I would go for 32g in size 6. -
Bloody Madness I know who I'll be voting for next time round.

I also have a Thermos and it is very good. Hot for 8 hours no probs

While on this subject, I hit a hedge hog on the way to work this morning. How much can I sell it for? -
As above however, if not marked as gift you will be charged the VAT. It also depends on what the item is. I have ordered DVD's from the US and not been charged at all. I also ordered a T shirt and got charged a fortune
