  1. westcountryman you have pm. phil
  2. i have 8 boxes of gamebore clear pigeon 30g no6 felt wad 12g cartridges plus 7 boxes of countrywide 30g no6 fibre wad 12g cartridges 15 box's total, quite old but should be ok £30 the lot face to face only plus sgc of course.
  3. long chokes supposed to be better patterns ( depending on cartridge ) as for recoil i doubt weather you could tell the difference, i like extended chokes because they protect the end of the barrel.
  4. did i miss a stand ore was there no driven birds ?
  5. it seems to be mixed, some have no problems some a lot of trouble, i suspect its cartridges when they load from the carrier if you can afford it buy a beretta both mine totally reliable even my 303 which has had 1000's of rounds through it my 391 even cycles 21g 21/2" cartridges
  6. at least you loked down the barrel! :look:
  7. depends on how good you are ,aaa shots use very tight chokes i use skeet or 1/4 most of the time 1/2 on very long fitasc crossers look down the end of the chokes and you should be able to see which is the tightist to the most open then work out the sizes sk-1/4-1/2-3/4-full
  8. i only use extended chokes to save the end of the barrels if the unthinkable was to happen
  9. the thing to remember is gun makers chokes are bored to give a 1/4 patern as a percentage but the likes of teague make thairs to a size ie 1/4 whould be + 10 thou so in the case of my browning cylnder choke it is a - size ( bigger than the bore ) so if you buy after market chokes you must pattern them gun makers newer chokes are much better now so i woldent change optima for other makers.
