Have just bought a Theoben Evolution .20 which has the sound mod on it, but still makes a fair bit of noise when the gun is fired. Has anybody got a vortex silencer that would fit it?

Hi, purchased my first air rifle yesterday (Theoben Evolution .20) it comes with the standard silencer but it is still pretty loud! What silencers fit these? Or is there a standard measurement? I have looked at the vortex adapter but can'd find much info on how they perform. All advice is appreciated! Cheers

Ive got a big bag full of full bodied decoys that id like to give to somebody who's just starting out in decoying. All are used, but some are in great condition and some have seen better days, but nothing a bit of paint wont sort out... Like I say, the vast majority are in good condition. Whoever posts first must be able to collect from Whitley Bay (Newcastle).

Hi Im thinking of getting an air rifle after using my mates HWK90K .22 - It was a lovely gun, but a little on the heavy side.. Ive got about up to £300 to spend, so after looking through some of the guns for sale I should be able to pick up a nice set up for that price. Can be either PCP or a springer. Must be in or near Newcastle upon Tyne. I drive, but dont want to drive too far! Cheers Dan

Thanks for the reply paul - I was close then... But rather than declare it SORN I think if and when a vehicle comes along I will be putting in limited use tax. Oil and filter changes should be easy enough to do on a 4x4. On the other hand, I do plan on getting back out in the beating line this year and would like to be able to take a 4x4 with me because its a small syndicate, who do you find the best and cheapest insurer is for pickups/4x4's?
