  1. Sorry, yes it's 12 bore. Very little leeway in the price, maybe 1450 for cash, I think the price is about right. Thanks for the interest.
  2. Great condition competition clay buster, been saving my pennies for a DT10, so now need some room in the cabinet. Right handed, no modifications, same size as it came out of the factory. All wood in great condition. Comes with Beretta hard case and a couple more Optima chokes. Face to face only please, situated on the North Hampshire/Surrey border. £1495.00 Thanks for looking
  3. Hey Nick Must of been you I had a chat with around stand 8 or so. Did you have a go at the cranes/towers? Don't think I managed to hit any of the high ones. 30p a bird seems to be more or less standard around here, and Bisley does have a good selection of targets, at least for my modest ability. Cheers - Bob
  4. Have read some good reviews and comments on this system, maybe just what I need for the winter. So if anyone has a one or two head system they no longer use, please let me know. Thanks - Bob
  5. I was leading the bidding for ages, then it shot up to about £400.00 in the last 15 seconds. Made me think about buying a new one if I could get that sort of resale price. Anyone on here got one? Are they worth it?

  7. Well I've just come back from a 100 bird sporting, where I shot 60, about normal for me. I killed every bird on each stand at least once, so I know they can be hit. Problem is that I sometimes kill the first pair, then miss several of the remainder, on other stands it takes a few pairs before I "find" them and straight the rest. Biggest problem is consistency, which I'm fairly sure is a mental thing. I would love to spend half a day with a coach, doing an analysis of my technique, reading difficult birds, mental approach etc. So far still looking for someone to do that, most of the coaches around here, seem to wander around with you for an hour, telling you you're behind or above etc. Then it's time's up that'll be £75.00 please - ouch Most of the coaches I've come across would be great for novices, stance, mount, safety etc But I've yet to find anyone who can take it to the next stage. I'm sure there are many shooters like me, no pretensions to greathood, but would like to shoot better, and are prepared to put some time and money into it. Any recommendations in the surrey/hants area, please let me know..
  8. I use the Napier SL (I think) series of eye protectors, and bought the extra frame to add prescription lenses, about £20.00. Then got the presription lenses made and fitted from an online company for another £20.00 or so. Must say they were brilliant. I always found that I was peering over the top of normal glasses. Anyway, three weeks ago had laser treatment (brilliant by the way). So have an almost new set of lens inserts if anyone interested? Can also recommend the company that did the insert lenses, pm for details if anyones thinking of going the same route.
  9. Just come back from shooting at Lains this morning, just off the A303 at Andover, look them up on the web. Also shoot at Popham, 2 sundays a month, next to Popham airfield. Gibraltor barracks, once a month in the winter, nice little shoot, just off the A30 close to Blackbushe Airfield Sure there are loads of others....
  10. Many thanks - look forward to hearing from you
  11. Just getting back into clay shooting after a very long layoff. Anyone got any Clay shooting DVDs they no longer look at. Thinking along the lines of George Digweed, John Bidwell etc. Many thanks
