  1. Set updates to download but let you choose when to install them. Choose custom and untick malicise (sp!?) software removal. This is the one which taking ages to finish. Turning them off totally is a bad idea!
  2. Arm them with tasers as minimum with pistols and bigger weapons being available in all vehicles. A aluminum tube is no match for a machete when being attacked, with more and more police being single crewed/ on their own at an incident they need some form of protection. Yes there are a lot of people who I wouldn't trust with firearms but they also served next to me in the Armed Forces and there were no problems. Firearms don't have to be used to have an effect, their presence enough is often good enough.
  3. 32, they were born on Friday 4th May 2012!
  4. I've voted. Protection of the marine environment is something I support, however there are ways to do this and ways to not do it.
  5. I could meet you at £25 via Bank Transfer? Can't go any lower I'm afraid!
  6. If you don't make me an offer I can't refuse it!
  7. Replaces the end cap, not suitable for A390> models which use a different end cap. Picture from this website here, also quoted as fitting a Browning B-80: http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/beretta-sako-tikka-slings/C79043 £30 including postage.
  8. I've done the safety thing once.. more often I forget to reload after crossing an obstacle safely and leave the working parts to the rear with no cart ready!
  9. Link to the ARRSE forum: http://www.arrse.co.uk/shooting-hunting-fishing/177783-public-service-announcement-west-mercia-fa-holders.html Makes for interesting reading. (apologies for the spelling of Licensing!)

    Scope Question

Here's a good link with some pics: http://www.6mmbr.com/parallax.html Having read this I still get confused about how to setup my scope but understand the principles!
  11. Friend of mine always removes his from his rimmys and CF. He had to have a rifle re-barrelled due to corrosion with his first gun. You can get a build up of chemicals/water inside, some mods appear to have more of an affect than others!

Can you post the dimensions please?
  13. Update: The policy is here: http://www.basc.org.uk/download.cfm/docid/FD91847E-F40C-4666-B59BA58F699DFB23 The wording of interest I believe is this:
  14. From memory, BASC insurance doesn't cover commercial work. So if you're beating or working for reward you need different insurance. I'll try to dig out the exact wording, it'll be on their web site somewhere. I'd imagine chain saw work would be the same.
  15. Cheers for your replies, I don't think this is going to offer me much more space than I've already got so am going to wait for something nearer my requirements.
  16. Have you tried the Air Arms Owners Club Forum? They've loads of guides and may have some more information that'll be of use? http://www.airarmsownersclub.com/
  17. Really?! I've just compared it to the spec of my current cab and the depth is similar. Do they fit in the foam or do you have to turn them sideways? Definitely interested if they do!
  18. Shame it's not deep enough for scoped rifles! Almost what I'm after
  19. Don't use this as have another slip: http://www.williamevans.com/Beretta_Gun_Slip_30quot;~p~1305200889.htm £30 posted. Anyone interested? It's been used but not much and is fairly clean/colours are still bright.
  20. Where abouts in Bournville? You've a few options. The Country Girl is ok, had a beer in there last night! You've Selly Oak nearby which has a number of student pubs. If you prefer a more lively scene. Mosely is a taxi ride away if you want a few different pubs to drink in.
