  1. That is very good advice, as long as you do it a few timed to mske sure you're doing it right !
  2. Afternoon all, I need to replace the circlip in my Beretta. Part #8 as shown here: http://www.omps2.it/media/wysiwyg/schemi/a300-a301-a302-a303_1.jpg Can I get one off the shelf or is there a particluar type/strenght/requirement? It has opened too far and blows off under pressure meaning the gun won't cycle. Cheers
  3. I've 2 girls who are just 3. When they were born I upgraded my safe to take my air rifles, this is also inaccessible to them. From as soon as they're old enough they're taught about things, they know which end of a knive is sharp and that the kettle/oven is hot. They know that guns are tools and are used to control pests. They know the basic parts and are exposed to them in a controled way as to build respect and interest. If they want, they can come with me one day. I hope they do but then if they want their own I'll be skint. Nothing is forced on them, they are being introduced to everything at their own pace so that they learn well. They love lying in my gun slip and being carried around!
  4. What domain is your email address with (bit after '@')? There maybe built in software that can assist you.

  16. I must learn to read other posts properly and not just type away! My force (WMP/Staffs) suggest filling in the land clearance form and sending it to them, if the land isn't cleared then they'll get on it it. If it is then they'll let you know. I didn't see what was wrong with phoning them but I'd imagine they're not staffed with enough people to answer enquiries straight away.

    I phone help

OS version will have little impact on phone signal unless there is a specific fix in a newer version. I also disable my data over the phone network to force it to use the wireless connection. I've found that even if it does connect and use it there is still some usage via 3/4G. Whilst it may not be much, saving it for when I am out is a benefit to me. It won't do any harm!
  18. I would also like to add that the Insurance and legal expenses cover are different things. Insurance is still held via a broker and paid for by premiums. Legal cover is now supported 'in house' and paid out of membership fees. Cases are first assessed by a firearms solicitor to ensure that they do require assistance before being progressed. I apologies for incorrect terminology which I'm sure I have used but hopefully you get the gist.
  19. My understanding from the news letter was that SACS have stopped providing the insurance cover via a broker and are paying any claims/costs direct from their membership fees.
  20. Anyone got one and considering selling? Let me know and what work/mods it has! Cash waiting, I'm happy to travel a few hours to collect the right gun. Tim
  21. See, that would be pertinent information to have available!
