  1. Haha jealously won't get you any where boy. I actually sent it you Saturday to remind you what pigeon look like! I told you you should of come with me! Ps that was without spending 2hours putting lofters up only for them to fall down!! If I'm feeling kind il let you join me this sat
  2. Thanks. Ye she sure was it was the 1st time she had a proper full day on the pigeons but has the day went on she got more and more on the ball watching her was just has if not more enjoyable than the shooting. But come 5pm after us being out the house for 7am she was pretty much pooped!
  3. Cheers lads it was 1 of the hardest days shooting wise on the pigeon but at the same time the most enjoyable
  4. Hi lads I don't really post on here threw not being very good with computers and I'm not wrong just wrote quite a lot about the day and shooting etc then when I came to upload the photo BANG all gone. So I`m just going to do I short post (BECAUSE I HAVE A GRUMP ON BECAUSE I LOST ALL THE WRITE UP I HAD DONE AND IM RUBBISH WITH COMPUTERS HAHA) and add the picture of half way threw the day I took to send my mum to show my dad as he couldn't join me for the 1st time in 23years. The shooting was hard and most birds where using the wood as a flight line rather than coming in but it really was a good day I had some good shots buts the high light of the day was the retrieve the dog did makes all the hard work/stress worth while. I ended the day on 64 pigeons, Im now going to go and get a hammer and smash the computer up!!!!
  5. Never mind those two clowns. watch my mate from bury on the undercard "Scott Quigg" this lad will go far.
  6. I have 1 of these and can honestly say if they are used in the right way u will get the right results. They are the top caller! But you must study different calls +the meanings of each call. It tuck about a week to get it right but a warning to all men "don't practice around the other half" she described it as being like some one learning how to play the trumpet!haha
  7. Fair play to you mate,I think once its in your blood you will never lose it. i also have been lucky enough to train with brian before he retired i use to go with a good friend of mine scot quigg, he is super bantam british champ and says he ows everything to brian. ATB Andy
  8. good on you pal which club was you with?Ive been doing it for the coming up 20 years now but unfortunately a hand injury keeps me from fighting as often as i would like, but even now i can`t seem to see the day i hang the gloves up, it`s like stopping pigeon shooting selling the gun and stop shooting (just isn`t happening)!
  9. Yes totally agree with you mate, The medicals you have to go threw here now are one of the best in the world,i box myself and a friend of mine who also boxes only last year got his licence revoked because of a scan he had before a fight. so yes they do all they can to help this from happening. pigeon shooting and boxing you can`t beat it!!
  10. Yes i did see that and as a fellow boxer it was hard for me to watch. Sorry by left to rot i was pointing towards that rat don king who to this day hasn`t given a dollar towards his care, I know roy jones jr has and still does donate a % of his purse from each fight he has.
  11. Sad end to this fight with what happened to Mcclellan and how he has ended up. boxers really do put everything on the line and now Mcclellan has been left to rot.
  12. Beautifull dog pal. very good little worker.
  13. Roy boy you can use mine until you get one if he is on your back to get the rabbits sorted
  14. Her recall to voice or whistle has become really bad when we are out. At the weekend why we were out she took off and wouldn't come back to me no matter what i did. up to 2 weeks ago she would leave my side. i have seen a difference in her overall behavior as well i dont know how to describe it other than hyper!
  15. Yes could well be right as she hasnt come in to season yet and is going to be 9 months old next week Thanks Andy
  16. I have been reading the books but its the faults which I have done what need correcting and I need pointing in the right direction. With her being 8 months old I think it will be hard and I don't want to keep training her wrong. Well done to your son pal I have more respect to people who train dogs as I use to.haha
  17. Did you back hedge hunter in the grand national a couple of years back tho?lol Just want to thank every one for there suggestions i will look at them all tonight. Andy (not the real hedge hunter)
  18. Haha so your the reason i had to add the year i was born!! cheers mate
  19. Hi guys and girls. I have a 8 month old springer that i have done a bit of training with. As i have never trained a dog before i think the best thing for me and her is to be pointed in the right direction. Over the last 2 to 3 weeks she has become harder than normal to train so rather than carry on (and not sorting the things i should be) i`m thinking of going to get some tips, etc off a trainer Before it becomes to late. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any? Cheers Andy
  20. some of them geese where no more than 10 yards away, not really good to see.
