give ivythorne sporting a ring ask for steve , he always has a good stock of quality second hand scopes , i bought my last swaro off him and it was a bargain .

to make this so much easiser to help you out how much are you willing to spend on a scope .

went last year as i live quite near to bath and west , wasnt that impressed, very little stock and small . if i had to pay for a ticket i would of wanted my money back .i think i will save my money and wait for the 2 days spent at cla .

its depends on the range and your ablity , i have used scope from 100 to 1000+ . when lamping you need to be able to locate the target and have a clear view . using cheap scope with vairable zoom they are normally not good at night, i have bought a bushnell banner 6-18x56 and i found it a pain to use when foxing due to the amount of variables it gives you when in low light . you dont need massive zoom when foxing , i use and swear by swarovski 8x56 and have bought 2 ,i have hit foxes at 300 yards using a 8x56 scope .if you respect your shooting dont mess about with the cheap scopes it will not be a great investment . you can pick up second hand 8x56 s+b for less than 400 quid . and still hit them at 300 yards .

one rabbit is better than no rabbits . its best to find out where the warrens are during the day and camp out at night and dont forget to keep down wind of them and your be knocking them off all night .well done

yea your correct in what you say wymberley things can go wrong , it happends in every trade , but its nice to know who uses who and why ? and why they dont use them . its not like we are playing with toys, but after emailing most of the gunsmiths i could trace, only 2 emailed me back one asking me to call on wednesday next week as they said they were very busy at the mo and could not take my details until then . ( staff problems they said ) :o , and the other sent me an email within 3 hours of sending it and then a phone call the next day , i know who i am going to use , someone who cares about the costomer and takes time to understand your requests , either way my rifle is booked in now i have made the best choice in my mind thank you for all your help everyone .

many thanks all for the messages sent , some was an intresting read about some horror storys about some gun smiths in the area, all replys highly rated uk gun repairs and dennis even phoned me back at 7pm in the evening what a top bloke no other gun smith even bothered to ring me back , so i am off to give uk gun repairs all my future business from now on .

getting fed up with beating the truck to bits when hanging out the window when rabbiting . i use a cz 452 style in 22rf with a 20 inch barrel . want to cut about 5 inch of it ( not doing it my self ). anyone had there barrel done and is there any real difference in accurancy .

been clearing out some stuff and come across a mains charger for a 6 volt battery . its a deben flat plug charger from a deben compact light set. and its free if some one can make use of it .will even post it free also .cant get any better than that.post on here an not pms , first one to message get a charger .
