Fished Albury, got my first rainbow there on the fly, it's not too far from you, and also i might be doing some flying in Syon Park (it's near chiswick or something) owned by same people. I fished the one with 2 lakes next to each other there, very good. I also went on a children fly fishing course got another 3 there Good luck, Haz

A mate of mine shot a woodie in the head... fell down, as was well we thought. Just to be safe he shot it again with multi-shot pistol to back of head. Right no movement... it's dead... however he went to pick it up and it started flapping again.. Had to break neck to stop all nerves etc. MH

Redwings me thinks, i've seen very large flocks of em... should be making their way back to Scandinavia soon, we get them in our garden but they have gone now MH If you can see a lone one through binoculars and it has a grey head it is a fieldfare, but if it looks like a thrush with a redish bar on its wing it's a Redwing...
