  6. Eagle Heights is great, got a hunting with falcons outing there to be done (this weekend probs) might see if the ferret court is there Patsmash. My dad has been on a falconry hunting day too there apparently it was great, may have some pics up Haz
  7. How about a Hatsan arms escort, what are they like, cheap but are they reliable/well made Look very nice though, Haz P.S. anyone got one, try one? pictures?
  8. I agree with Roblade here, for that money i think an air arms S200 will do, i got mine new with 10 shot converter and silencer for bout £350, but now you can see whole packs second hand for 200ish if you are lucky, and they are nice little guns! Haz
  9. THE SUSPENSE!!!!!!! wow it looks AMAZING There, exceptional pictures, i can see why you won the competition, what rifle/calibre were you using? Haz
  10. does anyone know what model it actually is? but very impressive, however unsafe But it shows how reliable they are. Haz
  11. you going to eat squirrels aswell? looks like they have been paunched, but anyway great shooting mate! Haz
  12. Very well said Hunter, i couldn't agree more, when out birdwatching i often just watch animals such as rabbits, hares, sometimes foxes and even stoats. I don't get an urge to kill, i like watching them, they are all beautiful animals as Tom's Dad said, and there's no point in seeing an animal and wanting to kill it the whole time, you are controlling them to make the countryside healthier. Unfortunately i am ill today and have been spending lots of my time looking out the window and watching birds in my garden/surrounding area, if you stay for 10-15 mins you can see quite a lot, for example i would get out my binoculars and watch a pair of magpies build their nest near our house using twigs from our tree. However i am not preaching that these little bunnies should be left alone, i am just trying 2 suggest that we should respect these animals. Haz
  13. His name (my AAS200 10 shot converted air rifle) is animal mother, don't ask why Haz
  14. we have VERY good barbel here aswell, i think the biggest river caught barbel was caught there, but i may be wrong, so i will ask when i next fish it.. very big though. River Mole (tributary of Thames). I am hoping to go out a lot more often this season, because last season i was busy with exams Oh well Haz
  15. i am not sure whether it was cothy or towy, but my friend has a house on abercothi estate and this was a week or few ago, just as the season really opened... so yeah i'll ask my friend. Haz
  16. Flytie yes i have had only a wee sea trout, this was on the cothi and the towy. i was fortunate enough to be out with friends at their small holding and his father is a VERY keen trout fisher, and even thought it was early in the season i caught 2 sea trout and a brownie all very wee ones though. Haz

    Flatulence

one of the funniest threads all year.. but the worst is my friend who sits next 2 me and burps in my face.. so it's all out war and we are trying 2 control laughter and then we get sent out.. oh well. Parents don't like farts but oh well.. no point keeping it in.. the best is when you are trapped somewhere for example a bus- they can't escape.. A few years back me and my friends would play a game where you would **** in somewhere crowded (e.g. a small shelter pakced with people when raining) and then get points- like if you made them hold their noses 3 points, laugh and shout it out was 5 points and making everyone go ewww was 7 and 10 points was making everyone move out.. was really fun... but yeah good thread Haz :(
  19. Well done mate, i remember my first, not on expensive tackle, just there to really learn how to cast etc. and ended up with a 3 lb rainbow , Haz

    I'm Back

In terms of PW i have been away for a long time, a month or two (at most) but a lot of things have happened.... But i bet no one has missed me! Firstly i went to wales on a farm in Carmarthenshire with my good friend.. we brought out air rifles and spent days either fly fishing (for sea + brown trout) or nailing vermin.. it was great but can't remember tally except got my first crow and magpie My Father is also ready to get SGC (maybe this weekend) and i've chosen army at school CCF (for the shooting)... also i met a marksman, former international target air rifle shooter and vermin controller who might take me out on a farm near us... other than that i've fine and you probably haven't noticed, but oh well! Haz P.S. i can't believe i've missed out on the PW badge and also i hope everyone has been shooting well and is in good health
