  2. my grandad died in 1968 and we allways wondered what was hidden in the coal house, the day after he died we found a 303 rifle and 80 rounds of rotten green ammo, two bottles of thick rum and his pipes and backy, smoked the lot and the rum was like glue it tasted disgusting and made you throw up straight away so we set it up on the pit heap and blew holes in the heap 40 yards away with the 303 the coppers were called and waited until the whole street had fired off the ammo before they took the gun off us kids as young as seven with injured shoulders for days HAPPY HAPPY DAYS.

  7. Three of them didnt give a monkeys the driver did look a bit sick, but looked like the hired help as he wasnt really in the mix with them.
  8. I didnt dispute the fact that DNA testing was now considered the way to go in my answer, I Stated that local dog training groups up here do group bookings for eye tests. Now wether he wants yearly checks or DNA taken, they are both available and normally a lot cheaper due to the amount of dogs tested.
  9. Went to a local clay club yesterday pretty early so nobody about, parked beside a 4x4 truck open back one and heres three shotguns lying in the back,no covers gunslips security or anything, anyway the guy who owned the truck walked up to get his dog out and over to us beside his truck, I mentioned bit dodgy leaving them lying there and his answer was, Im just the taxi driver mate the guys who own them are shooting just there on the stand behind the trees,I told the guy they should be inside the truck and not on full view and especially parked beside the woods out of the way. He then decided to cover them with his jacket and walked away, That done we finished our shooting and left it was around 11.50, on the way back we called into macdons for a burger and here again parked behind the place was the truck, now with 5 shotguns just lying in the open back, windows down dog trying to get out and now loads of people in the car park,we went for our burgers and heres four of them sitting chomping on gear that was going to take about half an hour to clear,I just looked at the guy and shook my head, deep down I think he knew what I was thinking as he stood up to check on his truck said something to his mates and went and sat in the drivers seat,we got our stuff and went back to the car and noticed thrown in beside the guns was around twenty boxes of cartridges the guy just looked and said allright, to which I replied its idiots like them who get everyone into bother and if you get pulled your all in the **** he never said a word and turned away. sort of makes you understand why people wanna tighten gun laws with plonkers like these knocking about. security? yeah right I could have took the lot and been on the motorway in less than two minutes.
  10. Managed to get some out of a mates gun with wd40 and the wifes hair drier try plugging the barrels up before putting the wd in to choke height leave it to soak in for a few hours then try,I extended his choke key by ducktaping a spanner on it for extra leverage while heating the barrels with the drier slow but it worked,Ive also done one using diesel down the barrels and three in one oil. PS if the keyways are stripped youll need a pressure fit choke key if this doesnt work then its a gun smiths.
  11. Check out your local dog training class for the eye checks they regularly hold block meetings for this and up here no membership required just book in and pay. YOU HAVE PM.

On the radio this morning they said the final bill could total up to 25 million
  20. Then either you or your dad can sell them and include details of both the licences on the letter to police to have them removed, as for the boat I would get more advice if a cabinet can be secured then is there a problem unless they steal the whole boat? I knew a guy lived on a converted single decker bus had a shotgun with the cabinet welded in,he now lives in a mobile home and hasnt any problems?. just had a thought unless your moving between counties with the boat then maybe not
  21. Yes he can but all the guns would need adding to both licences and you would probably get an inspection anyway because of this so inform them before you change it.unless firearms are involved then no.
  22. DONT just go and shoot I did this a few years ago and the farm had changed hands, the new guy was going to prosecute me and my mate until the previous owner stepped in and said he forgot to inform us of the sale,Better to check first
