  1. There's one at Barby which isn't to far away from Rugby!
  2. Thats the same way I do it and then scoop out the real mucky bits that are left!!
  3. Right a picture at last!! Not great quality but hopefully you'll at least be able to see it! Just realised I hadn't changed the price while I was uploading the picture. I'm now asking for £9,300 ono
  4. Hello, Time has come for it to go. So I have for sale my black Ford Ranger Thunder Double Cab Pick Up with Truckman lockable sport top. The vehicle was purchased in September 2006 and has been fully serviced from the dealer it was purchased from. Used only as a family car not seen any hard use or any thing more than a muddy puddle! Still under warranty from Ford, just done over 24,000 miles, has a tow bar. Full usual spec Thunder with Sony CD head unit and 6 disc changer. 2.5 109ps Turbo diesel. Lovely truck wish I could keep it but my circumstances no longer allow it! Asking for £10,000 ono. I will post some pictures with the sports top fitted when I can find the digital camera. Please PM me if your interested or require any further details. Many thanks Bugman
  5. Sorry been away! Right I'll take some pictures and post them!
  6. Again to add to the confusion, mine doesn't have a grading on the under side! OK, I give up...................... Adam My thoughts exactly and the stock on Ebay is a bit darker than mine!! (Had already weighed that up as it now has the fore to match I believe!!) It’s a pain because if I were to contact Browning for a replacement stock how do I know it’s going to be right? I'm having my doubts it’s a grade 3 now as it could be a 4. I think the 5 had gold birds on the side engraving (it was new in 2005!) This has the same engraving but not inlayed with gold, the trigger is gold and the Browning logo on the trigger guard is inlayed with gold.
  7. See mines a grade 3 with lots of detailled engraving, nice wood and has gold on it?? Just to confuse the matter!
  8. Can some one point me in the right direction in relation to browning grades? I have a 525 Grade 3 is there something like a marking that tells me it is a Grade 3? I understand its all about finish but with out having a grade 4 or 5 for comparison how do I know? This matter is made even more confusing (maybe just to me as I've not cracked the code) by the Browning catalogue the same age as the gun as it doesn't state grades it states Advance, Elite etc. Any easy pointers well be most grateful especially if I do decide to replace my stock that has been damaged! Cheers bugman
  9. I found it funny as a shooter and the fact the PC was clearly a sandwich short of a picnic! Must have been the kick to the head he had that has obviously brought on his need for Ritalin. But you are correct it is things like that that give people who are not in the know about shooting ammunition (no pun intended) about how easy it is for guns to be bought or makes it appealing to less responsible members of the community to apply for one. As it would appear to them that all you would have to do is carry out a favour for your local bobby! Luckily as we all know it’s not like that. Hopefully it wasn't taken in that way by anybody as I'm sure it probably wasn't meant like that by the script writer. Apart from that Dr Martin last night was most entertaining.
  10. Its more the fact it has to look right if I have to have one! Arms being twisted to get one as its not my choice!! but your green sounds better then the bright gay blue I've had pointed out to me
  11. Please accept my apoloiges I had NO EYED DEER this post would end up like this!!
  12. Just been offered 8 legs of Venison for £150. Is that 2 dear?
  13. The answer to your original question is no not in Daventry! Rugby or Northampton is the closest Gun Shop. Still working toward my RS, good luck with yours, sounds like what mine will have done once I get it.
  14. I've just got a new number and keep getting texts and phone calls from a bloke who is obvioulsy trying to "knock off" (for want of a better phrase) the young lady who he thinks is my new number!! So far I've been invited to a place called the Cherry Tree, and lunch several times and he was bragging about almost being arrested while out with a friend (!!) He also fancies me and loves me very much!! The thing I find the funniest though is when he texts me in a blind panic becuase he is running late, he must get such a rollocking if he keeps holding her up and shes getting no texts explaining why! I may reply to him one day and explain he's got the number wrong and I'm not his type!!
  15. Found some right on my doorstep!! Local game dealer has some in stock for himself and was kind enough to let me have some. He did mention he was struggling to get a supplier because unless you are a clay ground buying a truck of pallets your frowned upon. Bugman You mention it takes too much time travelling to a clay ground, but you want to spend your Saturday picking up thousands of bits of clays?
  16. I never said i would be clearing them up straight away!! You mention it takes too much time travelling to a clay ground, but you want to spend your Saturday picking up thousands of bits of clays? :o
  17. I've been to the closest clay ground and they was a bit funny because I had my own trap and didn't use there facilities! If they lowered the price and made it more welcoming in the first place I probably would go there, but its 40 mins away and just uses up the spare time I have getting there. I've got the land to do it at home so just thought I could bust 50 clays on a Saturday morning without going anywhere! (Hence the picking them up!!) I'll keep looking some'll turn up some where. Cheers Bugman
  18. The ground isn't sensitive as such just certain people like to keep things tidy!! I know certain clays will break and I will allow for that when I purchase them!!
  19. Cheers I think I tried their website and they had no prices!! I hope a box or two will last a while as I will have to clear them up as I go!! and i don't fancy picking up 10,000 broken clays! (Mind you I would probably break more tripping over while carrying a box than shooting them!!). They will always be pigeons to me just because some people disagree doesn't give them a right to change me!! Bugman
  20. Can any body recommend or suggest where to get a box of clays from! I've looked at several suppliers on T'internet and nobody likes putting prices on there websites and local gun shop don't seem to be bothered about trying to get any for me! Not after loads but depending on how many are in a box and for how much will depend on what I'm after I suppose! (Guess whose just brought a trap for his land without thinking about it first?!). All suggestions etc will be most appreciated (keep it clean!) Bugman

    Ferrets

I agree it is "horses for courses" I also work 2 Jills and 2 Hobs. I do tend to put in big burys the two Jills and then a hob if it goes quiet for a very long time. In several books I have on Ferrets they tend to say Jills work their way through the burys quicker but some times too quick and miss out on checking out all the bury. Hobs tend to plod along and check every nook and cranny! But with out sticking my head down the hole I can only vouch for generally getting the Jills flushing rabbits out really quick and then when they come out I've tried putting a hob down and sometimes i've got another rabbit out so there may be some truth or reasoning behind it!!
