I raced pigeons with the old man years ago and can quite easily tell the difference (even at a fleeting glance). That said however I can quite apperciate how someone could mistake the two. Iv never shot any although iv put a few out of their miserey.

I would everytime, I eat any woodies I shoot and if one lands that I dont see then it provides a good opportunity to bang it round the head region then there is no spoiled meat.

Are there any restrictions on caliber? I know you have to jump through hoops for fully autos but do the rules say at some point im sorry sir you cant have a shoulder cannon? For the record I would love to sling a couple of rounds from it at my old car

Hi all, the time has come to change the motor. Been looking at the most recent model of the avensis in diesel. I like the tourer better than the saloon and would need a diesel engine in it also. Has anyone any experiences with these cars (good or bad)? Used to have an old avensis as a runaround and was bulletproof so im steering back to Toyota.

Try to get a video of it as proof before you start the accusation process. Like another member has stated there are strict guidelines for the use of lights on boats so they may be in breach of some of those.

What a sad turn of events. My sympathy to any relatives. Its just too easy for anyone in power(politicians, councillors etc) to turn to the fact that he was a legal gun owner. If he had used his car to kill his victims would they be saying we need to review the licensing process and include a mental stability test to accompany the other 3? Its not the fork that makes us fat!

Heres the end result of my boxing day shoot, you win a cookie if you guess what type of bird the crown on the right came off. Shot at a lot more but it was bloody hard going with the wind.

It is true that they absolutely honk. Look at the many of them with foot-rot which just shows how dirty the conditions they live in actually are. That said I prefer to give them their proper name, same as all animals.

Its hard to say mate, It depends on your individual circumstances. Lisnasharragh have certainly got their act together with regards processing times. I have had a mate at the end of last year that had his renewal back in a fortnight and I had a variation Back within 4 weeks recently. I would say the old days of waiting 6 months to a year for your initial are over but your best to forget about it until it comes through. If you cant do that then give them a bell, they are decent enough to talk to. (just dont be calling every week) P

Thanks guys, I guess I just felt guilty for losing the head (and the wife tellin me off) . Its comforting to know Im not the only one. Paloma I never even thought at the time that this was just a tactic to rope me in,

So this guy calls to my door and asks if I got the promo pack for some phone service which I already know I dont want (Never got any promo pack anyway), I politely say im not interested, say goodbye and go to close the door. But the fella seems to have a chip on his shoulder and says (In a very inpolite way) "What do you mean your not interested? I only asked you if you got the promo pack". He was quite annoyed that I didnt want to talk to him so I told him to beat it. Is it unreasonable to let someone know you dont want to be sold something on your doorstep off the bat? Maybe im a grumpy so and so. Let me know your thoughts and experiences please as im quite annoyed now and need to have a clear head for the morrow as its me first walk up day of the season for the pheasant.

I think as long as hes not shooting at planes its safe enough If anything hes pulling potential hazards away from the airport airspace by banging them out of the sky
