  1. Hi, anyone using these , hell of a price here , buy 2 for £80 in states ,over here £111+p for 1 , anyone going to the states on holiday ?
  2. take it you like them 45ft and blow them to **** ,excellent birds and the army of pickers would ensure the bag .these are the type of comments an anti would make , I take it you have never shot 'testing' birds or tried to shoot a quality bird !
  3. need a copy of a parts manual for tie rod end parts and bottom ball joints on polaris 500 6x6 made 2001 sold 2002, Polaris UK -never anyone available ,promised call back ,nothing . leading dealers - advise contact Polaris , so others with parts wont commit because they are not getting the fitting work . anyone had these parts before and can give the part number's would be great , either polaris or aftermarket ?
  4. beware of loose talk, knew a guy who was refused renewal of ticket as long as his son was resident at the same house , son had been caught with a small amount of weed and was judged a criminal staying at same address , guy had to store weapons at his brothers until son had own address !
  5. so really its just lumped together with income tax ,vat and all other taxes ,and not an 'insurance' just another tax with a misleading title, please pass your info what it is for to David Mundell MP on 0800 number ,their research team have been trying to find out for 6 months without a clue what the actual description includes
  6. so why call it 'national insurance '? if something HAD happened to your home are you saying you would not expect 'cover' just peace of mind as you had paid insurance ?
  7. But the current government class them the same as 'long term unemployed' and dont care about your 'history' its all a numbers game
  8. just a question ,example= person works 36 years self employed , pays self employed stamp + national insurance + income tax . their vocation is ended by circumstances beyond their control , as the name implies 'national insurance' you would think the word 'insurance' would imply a 'pot' to cover their existence on a living standard if hard times appear , but the research team of an MP cannot find what part if any 'national insurance' is used in this way , thought that was the idea of 'insurance' .now would this person be classed as 'work shy ' if the find they are on the 'aged scrapheap'and after paying all those contributions for all those years the should be sent to the workhouse ?
  9. tut tut altering posts to your advantage !, clever , bet you can edit films and alter film angles ,after all we did not see every bird killed ,what did you edit out .enjoy your 'luck'
  10. such exclusive experience ,I am a bit longer in the tooth and can span 50+ years shooting , but as I have to bow to your idea that safety is 'luck' your previous statement about you and your dog being shot seems strange 'luck' .Anyway the captain of the titanic thought his expert career counted for everything and was still in denial when the ship went down, you seem so perfect I bet there is no smell when you break wind,I have been emailed direct from others stating you are in severe denial syndrome and always will be so enjoy your luck
  11. would it be too much trouble to view the article ? and I am quite sure you dont need butts or blinds on arable hedge lined ground ,there you try to simulate the hallowed grey partridge , I have a hill and I can get partridge to follow the contours the same as grouse, however I can also show them off a crag which is 1400ft above sea at 40yds high ,which is as I am sure you are aware partridge were never meant to simulate HIGH pheasant , We have some say THE partridge shoot in uk on an estate next to me where 80yd high partridge are common and YES Mr Digweed can hit them with a 20 bore without standing ,as usual , so with a little thought you can make them do anything you want , not all grouse are heather huggers and at the infamous Leadhills moor depending on your butt draw 25yd up not uncommon, so yes I have shot grouse high and low driven, and I have shot partridge on a grouse moor with sunk butts and yes they were eye pokers .
  12. john , please comment on 'The Field' article on grouse shooting on 12th august 2013 ,killing zones diagram, etiquette, etc as your partridge are on a grouse moor I take it they are to simulate grouse ?
  13. you never actually told cocker what they are for john ,he seems confused, that was all that was needed, also was there some forward shots after the first horn, this usually means birds behind gun line only ?
  14. perhaps john would like to explain the purpose of 'sticks' in grouse butts or partridge simulation of grouse ? no one means 40yd up pheasants
