I think the ones where you fill them yourself are supposed to be much better. For me they seem to set off my asthma worse than cigarettes do. I need to give it another go for a couple of weeks to see if I get over that hurdle but it's bloody annoying.

Have you ever met anyone who wont take drugs just because they're illegal? If people want to take them then they just will. I'm not advocating taking them, quite the opposite, but I think criminalizing people for taking them does more harm than good. If you want to hit yourself over the head with a frying pan, we can tell you all day long it's not a good idea but you are the one who has to make the decision not to do it....is that a good analogy? I just think maybe with the money saved from the 'war on drugs' and policing it etc plus the tax revenue we could divert a lot more in to rehab and education

Loads of people get killed by being drunk and having accidents or getting in to fights. First time alcohol users are probably just as unlikely to die as first time drug users. In my opinion more focus should be on the long term health effects rather than the very rare first time deaths caused by any drug. There's a lot of people that die from bad reactions to prescription drugs as well.

Well that's the problem isn't it. One wont kill but it's the habits and life style that is formed by using any type of drug. Just like with alcohol people are self medicating by taking drugs to cheer themselves up, de-stress, have a good time, go to sleep etc etc.

Of course they're not good for you like anything if taken in moderation the negative effects are going to be minimal but I've never heard of a recreational heroin user. Tobbacco is the worst of the lot and kills more people per year than all teh legal and illegal drugs put together. There's an interesting docu-film called 'How to make money selling drugs'. The point they make is that whilst they are not good for you the huge budget fighting a war on drugs hasn't done anything but criminalize (usually poor) people and the money could be better spent on education and rehabilitation/medical help. The US spends something like 50 billion dollars a year and it probably has not stopped a single person taking drugs.

It's funny, I've left both pairs of mine in the boot of my car loads of times until it dawned on me they are worth more money that the rest of my shooting gear, gun included, combined Inside for me!

I have the same problem, the hoop on the slider has broken and the pull tab isn't attached anymore so there is nothing to pull on, I tried grabbing the whole thing to pull it up and cut my fingers to shreds. If you get told they can be fixed could you let me know as well, 260 quid is a lot of money to spend on some wellies and I'd like to get many more years out of them.

I think the pallet pine isn't bad for kindling it burns very hot and is generally very dry.

I'd get the dog back and let the member have it if they want it. If the dog bonds with this 'trainer' it will probably bond with any good person.
