105 pigeons and 32 Corvids nice steady day

Think that picture has come out a bit smaller than normal if you got good eye sight you can make it out lol picked up about 110 in total

Had a nother good day yesterday started at 10.30am finished about 7.00pm birds really started to decoy from about 3.30pm onwards

Bring your pattern in closer won't have to shoot every thing twice

Cheers all yes there does seem to be there fair share of pigeons around this harvest 10 times better than last year for me anyway I have been very lucky this harvest as to where the rape stubbles are they have very strong flight lines going over um not just through summer but all year round

Haven't been shooting today just been on the look out today rape stubble had one good day off 154 and a nother day off about 25 was off to marlbourgh tommorow but one off the farms I shoot for a bit closer to home rang me to say rape cut and it's blue out there so fingers crossed for tommorow

To be honest don't think we would of shot half that amount if it wasent for the magnet for those that think the magnet has had it's day is mad it's one tool I would not be without in the pigeon decoying gear

Had a fairly good day yesterday good wind in the morning but it died off In the afternoon and so did the pigeons started shooting about 10.30 and stopped about 7.00 but they really slowed up about 5.30 but we sat it out for a while longer just to see if they switched on again u never no shot 154 picked up 147 they do like this rape stubble

Magnet is a must in my kit bag the older birds may get wise to them but the young pigeons are mad for um

My dog is getting fairly good at these working tests I feel a first is just around the corner

Entered the young man into the novice test at sudley castle nr Cheltenham he came 2nd out of 23 dogs 3 points of first place he is coming on really well looking forward to trialing this one

Yea do a fair few working tests it's a good socialing event for you and the dog what are you entering in puppy/novice or open

I have just picked up a new browning 725 sporter last week great gun for the money I got the 28 inch barrels just felt a little bit better than the 30 inch barrels shot with it yesterday and shot really well comes up nice great all round gun for clays pigeons and a bit of pheasant shooting
