  1. I still await the photos from the original poster. Put up or shut up - the challenge is there. Where do these people come from?
  2. sernv99 - nasty little turn of phrase you have there. It troubles me that you might actually own a shotgun, as opposed to making posts about a gun you may or may not have. Some photos might help - see the Landrover that never was thread. Sadly, I am still of the opinion that you are a schoolboy, with too much time on your hands, who has delusions of being somebody. Don't worry - it won't happen. Have a nice day.
  3. He was selling it for the same as a Browning 525 sporter. Looked pretty good to me. I have shot one - impressed - shoots better than it looks. It might take a long time, but when the action wears loose - that's it. No tightening possible - as far as I am aware.
  4. Bought a fair bit of Snap On and MAC tools in last few weeks - some new - some slightly used - ratchets, sockets, Torx, extensions, screwdrivers, hammers. Bought a top box and middle section yesterday, plus a MAC air chisel set. Looks almost unused, but one chisel missing.
  5. Have no fear - Kent will come back at you with a researched answer.
  6. It might be my memory, but didn't sernv99 indicate that only the very rich could afford an annual service and the repeated repairs. I feel so disadvantaged, by my lowly Miroku MK38 Grade 5, Winchester 23 and Beretta 682E Gold. Never mind, if I win on the lottery I will buy a very expensive gun, but not a Krieghoff.
  7. Krieghoffs are an improved, direct copy of the old Remington 3200 - think more durable and better put together. That said, they cost an arm and a leg. I am totally unclear as to why the cost is so high. No problem - good luck to anyone who buys one - but occasionally you get the odd absolute **** who boasts about how much they cost and how only they could afford one. Example - read the first post in this thread.
  8. I think they will be pleasantly surprised. Shame you are so far away. Good luck.
  9. Hello and welcome. Where do you do your clay shooting?
  10. Did the photo ever emerge? Mungler - those are two comedy classics. Thanks.
  11. Hoovering sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. It's all getting a bit complicated now - if it means cleaning the barrels after every shot. Perhaps Krieghoff do a balanced barrel cleaner - if only I could afford the cleaner.
  13. My wife has three hoovers. One downstairs, one upstairs and a spare just in case. I have complained, but she countered with the number of my guns - touche. She is cleaning mad - I am sure it is an illness.
  14. It's a bit of a shame. The original poster has retired wounded, without putting up much of an argument. He might be an oddball, but his pomposity was amusing whilst he lasted. What a little star. I would be surprised if he was over 15 years old. No insult to younger members intended.
  15. Kent - we will have to disagree. I am not saying I would be happy to own dogs who look for a fight. I own two Akitas, one of which has been attacked a number of times and has fought back. I just don't agree with amateur dog psychologists - Sounds like you are citing something you have read. - on that we do agree. I'm with Ozzy Fudd on this one.
  16. Never seen one. What made you pick a Pointer, as opposed to many more well known makes?
  17. I am always grateful to hear an expert opinion. If you genuinely have no time for a dog who will fight, you should never have owned any dog at all and should, in all conscience, refrain from keeping another.
  18. Location would help. What is wrong with it for it to be in only fair condition? They haven't really been around long enough to get worn out.
  19. Kent - how can anyone with a brain cell say that their dog would never fight? Any dog will fight given the right circumstances. To say otherwise is absurd.
  20. I would ask to see the bill - satisfy myself that it was legit and pay up. Kent - that dog has not been born yet.
  21. Better machined, wood, resale value, reliability, longevity, trigger pulls.
