  4. most people are on some sort of meds these days anyway, sounds like its been blown way out of proportion, are they getting pressure from the drug dealer to go further you think? sounds its gone tits up, hopefuly it'll right it self!!
  5. a night best forgotten sounds likes :(
  6. now thats a gun dog!!! mine has so far collected my belt, socks, favorite hat, phone, kids toys to name a few, and when i say collected.... he collected them..... and i later found them
  7. there's a dive shop in falmouth nr trago (going away from the town, towards the mini roundabout) they might do it (the do refils) but its a bit far for you unless your passing.
  8. real catch 22... what do you do, if you chase them, its a game and they'll run faster and play it more often, if you sit and watch..... you dont get the response you want. i can see the benefit of an E collar, not had need to use one on my V, the jack russel and the local cats on the other hand......
  9. i got a "normal" haired viz and hes a lovely family dog!!!
  10. leaves a ptfe coatings doesnt it? smells lush!
  11. ahhhh, yh looks like a thin fleece. nice thinking there, i'll have a look, could be costly though

  13. thanks guys, i just wanted to know for the occasional fox some quality math work there chaps!
  14. so my shottie has this proof mark on it ( that i've found so far) which apparently means "Standard final smokeless re-enforced proof 15646 psi" so what the eff does that mean, in terms of how bigger gram carts can i have? its 70mm chamber Thank you
  15. tis true, but then you could argue you could buy anything these days, there's just somehting nice in making it yourself, could also turn out better quality and longer lasting will do yeah i was thinking that, something with the toughness of say denim or like you say, waxed cotton i was also thinking between my two layers add in some foam (i think loose padding will move about) something like carpet underlay. i'll have a look around the local fabric shops and see what sort of things they have in stock and i can have a feel ect. thanks for the advice
  16. have many people made a gunslip? My girlfriend is pretty handy on the sowing machine and i had an idea to try and make a gunslip/bag what would you use for materials? avoiding leather. i thought one outer material and a nice soft inner, something that wont hold water in it was a thought i had also, so if it goes in a tad wet it wont still be wet in there next time i take the gun out. soft material but that wont leave fluff in and around the gun. then maybe a buckle closing and a strip for the shoulder ect.... idea's and comments? yes i know i could buy one, but thats not the point Cheers Andy
  17. So i've just picked up my first shotgun, a Manufrance Rapid (pump action), looks well made i'm chuffed to bits with it, will be having my first go tomorrow night couldnt find alot of info on them, and i'm a nerd and like to know the in's and out's. a few searches showed some americans saying it was pretty much a copy of the Remington 870 which was used by the USA police for decades and has a good following.... sure enough its identical, barring the safety and release button apparently. so my question is, do any people own an 870 or is it possible to buy aftermarket parts for the 870? if i wanted to go that route.... not wanting to spend loads of money as its a work horse really but its also a hobbie and interest... Cheers Andy
  18. i used to run both in my hilux 2.4D very lazy engine, you want to check which fuel pump you have first. i used to run about 65% SVO and 35% derv, sometimes chuck in some white sprit. it occasionally took longer to start on the cold days due to the fuel being thick, just had to cycle the glowplugs a few times. only down sides were the smell...... which i loved lol as has been said, the first few tanks will drag through crud from your tank so fuel filters WVO..... is messy, i got some from a kebabby and it was more fat then oil and loads of effort for a couple litres, but it can be free. the filtering kits can be costly though.... change your oil slightly more often also.
  19. shotgun is pretty short at the moment, my FAO said there was a huge backlog on FAC's though, sorry!
  20. lidls did heated vests a while back..... so they are about cheaply
  21. what bolts are you using? i got mine from a builders shop and it said on the packet what size hole to drill.... mine was a 14mm hole. took ages to put the 6 in! failing that, as has been said just the same size as the plug part, so it'll slide in with a little resistance best bet is to email your FAO mine were very helpful in postion and if you follow their instructions, you cant really go wrong as their the ones checking it
  22. whats that like on range? (the red LED)
