  1. Just interested to see what people have and enjoy! A lot of the people on my local clay ground think that because they are shooting 32" o/u it makes them bigger and better, and with my semi auto sometimes out shoot the lot of them.
  2. we call em growlers here occasionally too
  3. I see, 30 inch is ideal for pretty much everything, clays and game, in my opinion that is. My semi auto is only 26" though with a 1" extended choke, makes for a good pigeon hide gun
  4. +1 for the green eyes, seen plenty of cats on the piece of land I have near houses and have got used to the difference in eye colour. And well, If faced with a green eyed basil brush one day then and I couldn't make out the body then It'd just remain un-shot.
  5. What is it with clay shooters and really long barrels? Is there a method behind it?
  6. What do you prefer? and on what guns? I would sooner have a decent set of chokes than a longer barrel!
  7. Looks like good value for you money to me. Small Syndicate I'm on shoots 5 days and has varied bags, first day was 62 second was around 55 and then it dropped off as the season progressed. With that you get the 5 days, 5 drives a day and a duck flight at the end of it. for £400 a full gun. Bag can include, pigeon, woodcock, duck, pheasant, very rare but one or two partridge and snipe.
  8. I've got an SX3 at the moment, (FOR SALE ON HERE) that I like, owned a Mossy 935 in the past, but I have to say I am sorely tempted to join the pump club instead! They are more reliable, no one can doubt that, and cheaper. If I had the choice i'd be getting a Benelli SBE2, but I think selling the SX3 and buying a Supernova may be in order!
  9. I have one for sale on here at the moment, you are welcome to have a look, can sort out RFD if wanted too. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/271771-winchester-sx3-composite-black-shadow-12-gauge/
  10. If you look hard enough you could find a MINT aya no.4 boxlock or even a good condition aya no.2 sidelock. I have a 30 year old aya yeoman and can hit everything with it. I rate aya extremely highly.
  11. i have 3, 28" s/s for game, 30" o/u for clays. 30" semi auto 3.5" for duck and wildfowling i shoot just as bad with all of em
  12. Looking for any types of shooting that anyone can offer, I'm keen to help, open gates, hold lamps, etc you name it! reason is i can't grasp any of my own shooting locally, as its already mostly tied up in either syndicates or by other people. I'd also like to make some shooting friends! Just want to get out and be in the countryside, I've had plenty of experience shooting all sorts of different things, lamping, decoying etc. I currently own a Shotgun ticket with 2 guns on, o/u and semi auto. I'm looking into possibly making a move on my FAC but that will have to wait due to lack of permission! Any offers or help or advise would be much appreciated thanks Harry
