  1. Ah ok, it’s just that I read in the June BASC magazine that they had a walked up partridge and wildfowling shoot there, so was surprised that Packham and Co were doing Spring and Autumn watch from there. Maybe the BASC article is out of date.
  2. Anyone know if Wild Ken Hill is still a driven partridge shoot?
  3. Thanks for all the advice, from what Lord Geordie says the release pin may be the problem, will check tonight, the top lever does return to the center when released
  4. My Rizzini O/U has stopped closing properly, it used to close as normal but now I have to push the release lever to the open position to allow the barrels to close then push the release lever back to the lock position. Seems to have happened after a very wet days shooting. Is this easy to fix?
  5. Half gun in this case means 4 days out of 8, so roughly once a month, the bag varies alot but between 10 to 30 with about 18 as an average. Yes rough is on non driven days when you fancy but just need to confirm days with the shoot captain.
  6. Half gun vacancy available for 2013 season, 4 driven days plus rough shooting over the non driven area's for £600 plus gamekeepers tip on the day. Mainly pheasant but sometimes partridge and duck get up. BASC insurance required
  7. Not a good season for us, put down 800 pheasants and 50 partridge, got 17% pheasant and 8% partridge, worst than last year, the birds just dissappeared despite keeping the feeders topped up, adding grit into the pens and new water drinkers. Our problem is the wood we have permission on is open access and this year seems to have had more dog walkers tramping through the wood than last. Some people seemed to have not heard of the country code or understand what dogs under close control means.
  8. Got a Beretta 20g semi auto that my daughter used to use, with 4 chokes and hard case, £400
  9. I've got a Beretta Urika 20g semi auto for sale in the private guns for sale, £550 with hard case and 4 chokes, 28" barrel.
  10. I have a 20g semi auto (Beretta Urika) that my daughter used for clays, complete with hard case and chokes for sale for £500ono if your are interested. She chose the semi because it was lighter for her and the loading action took out most of the recoil.
  11. Partridges stolen from farm in Biggelswade last week and batteries nicked as well
