Any members on here would be welcome to come for a shoot. Over the last 20odd years I have only ever come across 2 other folk shooting the same land as me, so there's plenty to go round. And plenty of room for tents too - all the others have blown away P.S. 35p per tail too ohh thats good i havn`t got a tail!!! better leave the dog behind might take you up on that one day mate ,it would be grand

welcome scott get stuck in and learn loads ,most of the fellas on here are top notch and know thier stuff enjoy

if you got a flapper get it out and try it ,movement is very important in a pattern ,all static and piggie knows somethings up ,Anything is worth trying a couple of times say in different positions /different speeds . I don`t use a flapper but i do use a floater ,you don`t need to buy one just go to the nearest hazel wood cut a piece of hazel about 7ft long use that works a treat pigeon shooting is not about buying everything ,use your imagination and create things you would like to see your decoys do!! i am using sprung craddles at the moment for dead birds ,i got this idea from watch live pigeons waddling round a field they certainlly help

hi steve not sure if you will get enough of a covering to stop poggies getting at maize stubble but we can hope especially down here ,the highest risk of snow in the south is monday/tuesday possabillity of some wednesday but realistcally a bit far out to judge good luck though

still looking good for cold spell snow for alot of eastern areas but anyone could see some this cold spell is set to last about 3 days northern areas sun /wednesday southeren areas monday /thursday this cold spell could last alot longer not sure on conclusion yet

for me it isnt 100% as of yet, dont forget edd though, i think he said that he wanted to go? yep got edd on stand by he hasn`t confirmed yet hope you can make it beating

right folks list of takens so we know how many we got colin+1 trev+1 bobgee bunny basher stuart p beating is best right i make it 8 so far ,just a rough tally to keep check ,if we have to many we can contact the old fella who runs it and try ang get a quiet time

only a thought trev ,just an easy way for all of us if we have quiet a few to shoot togeather and see how each other shoots and have a natter as well in between only a sugestion nothing is concrete if any one dosn`t like the idea say and we can do what everyone wants to do

wife has been nagging me to post her dog up so here we go first is at 8 weeks this one is bella at 5 months!!! god knows how big she will be at 2 years

Fingers crossed if the wife lets me have a pass going to go on a flight line/roost at home next to a field of rape 200/300 in the wood nothing on the field

alll are welcome bob we might have to spread out a bit to shoot but ,we will sort that when we get there. we could do a round of skeet if we have the right number that would be a laugh!!!! looking forward to it

i have found the best way is to keep 10 or so birds from last shooting session and bag them and pop in freezer,make sure you defrost before using atleast 24 hrs. 12/15 should be enough ,how confident are you of shooting a few quick birds start together nail one or two then split is another option!

ohh what you got ? anything nice second hand browning spoter gti plus with mc not had much use by the looks of it sounds nice ,never over struck on brownings but hope you like yours
