if its a big cost to you probably not but if it protects chemicals going in your trigger and the rod rubbing against the throat its just best practice i suppose.if rods are made of soft metal this should allready protect your throat.one thing i noticed is if i did not use one the plasticote on a dewey rod gets stripped off

its not the tats mate we have all had our fare share of knock backs .i know plenty of guys with tats who look damn rough and chuffing ugly (pork chop n co) but someone obviously saw they had a good attitude and knew there craft.unlikely a farmer will be on here looking for you and more unlikely someone will give you one of there permissions .perhaps ask to tag along and keep at the door knocking now is a good time as there are plenty of rabbits showing.good luck and with luck you will find something soon.

guys i went out yesterday on a first proper hunting trip with factory ammo and factory 3650 put into balliustics.couple of rabbits around 100 yds then a couple of crows around 160 yds .then 2 pigeons with 1 shot at 180 odd yds in dis belief at how good it was compared to the hmr my next shot was a rabbit at 287 yds head shot (low wind)i will re load but i have to say if that was not an option i would be happy shooting factory in this great little round.i have not said that b4.the more i shoot it the more i love it.

mine feeds great and i'm loving the lazy ejector that feels quality and saves searching acres for spent brass
