If they want to win this pathetic little "victory", who cares? I can still see the top shelf. (errr so I would imagine)

Why is it all these tree-huggers get to "demand" what's what, but we don't?

They don't obey any laws as far as I know, yet still expect that law to protect them when it suits. However hard they try, they can't have it both ways.

I'm saying nothing about Paige. I hear her dad owns a gun!

I watched American Guns the other night where they made some guy a punt gun.
Is it just me or does $10k seem an awful lot of money for an 8ft length of pipe threaded and capped? And how are WW2 bomber graphics anything to do with punt gunning?
I'm sure the vehicle it was mounted on was worth half that, but he didn't ask for a buggy, he asked for a punt gun and they did spectacularly well in making it look nothing like the picture, let alone the quality.
Oh, and who wants to give that "workshop manager" a slap? And the fat one.

I've got a 410 with the 9" moderator. You're right. It doesn't sound like a gunshot. With 2" cartridges, it doesn't sound like a springer either as there is no "crack", just a muffled thud.
Fully modded ones are quieter, but somewhat unwieldy, which is why I went for this.
I used mine at 4.30 the other morning to dispatch a fox I had caught in a cage trap and no neighbours heard a thing.
I would imagine if it had woken them, they wouldn't be sure of what they had heard anyway.

Muppets who can't control their dogs shouldn't be allowed to keep them. Makes my blood boil.
Hope your dog is O.K soon.

Well that seems to have killed the thread stone dead doesn't it?

Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. Only reason I haven't bought one or two is their terrible gas mileage.

Well, got my first one in the cage yesterday morning. A largish vixen, but she looked young and was in excellent condition.
Fortunately she came over to the bars to see what I was holding, so the gun was no more than 6" from her head.
Only using 2" 9 gram no.6 cartridges, but it was completely instantaneous and mess free, and didn't even wake the neighbours.
No poop on my patio this morning, but I have left the cage out in case she was one of many.

Cheers for the advice guys. Now I've got it in black and white to show him.

Whack-job! . I've had that feeling a couple of times, but not the circumstances you described. Creepy.

How long after visit for certificate to arrive?

Officially they can't tell you if you've been successful as it is down to their superiors to make the final decison, but they normally give you the unofficial nod, which is the same thing.
My SGC arrived 3 weeks to the day after the visit, but it's been 6 weeks since my FAC visit and still no cert. (Metropolitan Police)
