I should of changed after the first visit, she questioned me about his docked tail. And the best thing was the litter was docked at the same practice!! I know that I will never know what his temperament would of been like unless he was left to fully mature. I was just saying that it never changed it.

Had my cocker done at six months, it had no effect on his temperament at all! He is still wired to the moon. I was more concerned about weight gain and it making his fur go frizzy. (The vets words not mine) He is now 18 months old and pleased to say still no change.

That was yesterday!!

He is fine when you keep on top of him its just the odd occasion he's left to he's own devices. I did try the sock yesterday but that was even worse I was more worried he was going to swallow it!

I don't get the whole infection thing! I'm allowed to walk the dog with no protection?? Surely the **** and **** he could pick up on a walk is far worse than him licking it?

Evening all, My 13 month old cocker cut a pad on his paw. He had to have a small op to remove a flap of skin. The bandages have now been removed and is healing really well however weve been told that hes not allowed to lick it (easier said than done!) Has anyone got any tips or advice on anything that can be done to stop him from doing it (other than him wearing his lampshade which we ALL hate as hes caught the back if the legs a million times already, bangs into every bit of furniture we have & hes a really unhappy dog with it on) Is there anything I can put on it which tastes fowl but will not do him any harm? I saw this lot dumped on the side of the road! What a waste. If they were "surplus to requirements" why on the side of the road for all to see? Not as clear as the first had to resize to upload!!

Out of interest has anyone on PW used a "coffin hide" If so what did ya think?

They were questioned and released on police bail until April 10, 2013 pending further enquiries!!!

You would like too think so, but in reality they will probably be released. Not enough evidence!!
