Right lets get the ball rolling again. Whats classed as exercise fishing? walking around with a gun? as long as you stay local.
All because he lets folks go on the lash and holiday makers in. Me and my mate work all week dont mix and just enjoy out free time with the guns in the open. All down the pan again -
Interesting I tried to email him using the address on the site but it bounced back. Yes would be good if some one actually had one in use

Look interesting https://www.wingslocked.co.uk/kicks-chokes/41-high-flyer-12-gauge-choke.html

Plenty on the bay but not that good and not cheap now. Personally I'd have gone with the one nick fits for the price and time it takes to get it altered. . There very fast without the speed controller. His has the option of timer and speed control all in one.
Yea just trying to avoid sending it back again

Turns out was me being stupid. I actually have a timer if was the other bit of cable in me bag lol. But even with that it flaps non stop. So I either need to get another off nick or ebay which either is quickest
-
Well its back with all new arms and every thing. But got bit confused in the chit chat and no remote. It also just flaps non stop. Waiting for nick to get back to me but I guess now would be a good time to buy a remote. I need some thing idiot proof to wire up though.

Better than horse anyway. Got quite a character. Used to have one as a kid nice old thing. Unless you rode back wards then it threw you off. Also it used to jump in the vw camper for spin to beach

Restriction after restriction after restriction. Country going down pan. Can't do this can't do that. Just endless

I bought some napier well Napier Gun Oil & Gun Cleaner Lubricant VP90 to be precise off amazon and amazed how liquid it is. I squirt a bit down my barrels and it just straight through onto the floor so seems a waste of time to me and as for the lubricant part I can't see it staying on any thing long enough to lubricate any thing. Is that viscosity normal

Does any one wear polarized glasses for low light? I read some where that the yellow lenses can help with the contrast etc. As I have got older my low light vision has dropped compared to the young fella I shoot with. Once its light I am fine or once I get zoned in on some thing but in low sight he see things way before i do.
I do have a pair of cycling ones with yellow lenses and I tried them and the made sod all difference that I could notice so maybe you need a special sort ?
-
You folks that use old side by side do you worry about the water ingress at all ? I know we all clean and dry our guns when we get home but surely some must get in the action ? I can remove the stock on mine if I have to but its not the sort of thing I would want to do often. Any screws into wood can only be removed some many times before the hole is stuffed I guess

I have given nick the go ahead to fit one while he has it. Quite interesting to see what people are using though

Hello chaps ,I shall be renewing my SGC within the next few months and was wondering if any of you chaps have any experience of renewing your SGC with parkinsons. I was diagnoses about a year ago with early stage parkinsons I am now on medication and it seems to be under control as much as you can control parkinsons. Obviously I shall mention this upon renewal in the application form as well as doctors reports. By the way my doctors are asking for 45 pounds to fill out the form. I still shoot regularly as I find clay pigeon and parkinsons doesn't really matter as it's a very dynamic sport so the shakes don't really come into it.Any advice or personal story's would be of appreciation thanks in advance, Mark.
Hi Mark I hope you are well. Out of interest did you get renewed ok ? I notice on the form from the police to give to the docs it mentions parkinsons or any other neurological issue. Reason I ask is i have an essential tremor and have to renew in a years time. Doesn't affect me at all doing things. Just a tremor at times so I am wondering if the doc will tick that box when the time comes

This this sounds good
What kind of exercise is permitted?
There are no legal limits on this, but in practice this is constrained by other restrictions that have been imposed such as the closure of leisure centres, gyms and swimming pools.
I have a nice spot I can walk to that will do nicely
