    21st's

Thanks Dad I, fortunately, know when I've had enough. Ahh see my parents paid for me to go to a Helen Philips Training weekend in the Summer so no big party for me. I work in a bar and we had a 21st in on the Friday night that was finished by half 11. And a joint 18th and 21st on the Saturday that was also finished by 11. Meanwhile I go on gundog training weekends.. oh dear. LOL

    21st's

Ugh, I'm 21 in a number of weeks and I have no idea what to do for it. I'm having a meal with family the weekend before my birthday and the weekend after I'm going for a long dog walk with friends followed by a meal out. But my birthday is on the Tuesday and I have no idea what to do. I'm not big on clubbing and town etc but work friends are trying to convince me otherwise. So basically the aim of this - what did you do for your 21st? if you can remember it
  3. No that mongrel in the first and last picture is Radar UK's GWP Elsa.. if you remember the pup pictures he posted on here.
  4. Well I keep mine inside and even though he isn't worked yet - we are thinking of a kennel outside for when he does this: So even if you do keep him indoors, I'd have a kennel or space for them to go after walks and work - especially if it smells of rotten eggs.
  5. I was thinking the same. Surely they'd have a dog you could borrow? To the OP - if I was closer I have one that needs some work that you could've borrowed.
  6. 1 teaspoon for smaller dogs, 2 for large - the turmeric that is.
  7. I feed mine on raw. The best foods out on the market that are more towards the natural sense are; Applaws, Acana, Taste of the Wild, Orijin, Barking Heads and Fish 4 dogs. The trick to sourcing a decent food is to look at the ingredients list. The further down or lack of grains are the better ones, grains cause all sorts of skin problems and ear infections. The higher the meat content is a good way to tell how decent the food is. I think Barking Heads food is about 50+% meat content and not meat waste. They are pricey but if you look at the amount you have to feed, most of them are something like 20p a day to feed. Of course it's up to you what you want to pay. Your dog may do fine on the more rubbish foods. The proof will be your dog.
  8. Actually it's all of them. Sadie has a clicky elbow - it's old age creeping in, she's done well up till now and at 11 I think it's alright for it to start to show. With Benjie, it's the lack of exercise and the over feeding my in laws are giving him. I had him last weekend and he was like a coffee table! With Jack it's a flea allergy from my parents cats when we went to visit. Hopefully the advocate is working it's magic. With Louie he lost so much weight (which is now back on) and has a ruptured ear drum. Pennie last night decided to give me such a scare I ended up ringing the emergency vets. On a walk yesterday she's poked her eye on a leaf. Then came up to me last night hardly being able to see out of it. Bathed it, gave her some Piriton and some meta cam and waited till today - woke up to a bright eyed girl. However she's become very clingy and sleep this past week and a friends bitch has been giving her a hard time. She's coming up to 9 months old so I don't think I'd be wrong in thinking her first season is just around the corner. It's never just one of them is it. And in my case it doesn't come in 3's it comes in 5's!

    Disgusting!

Not really - one of those Victorian things And I have a onesie (adult babygrow) for bedtime too
  11. Is that what she put? She's dim. I'd have been like useful shooting or rubbish shooting. Useful being - what food can you bring back to feed the dogs

    Disgusting!

You missed my edit I don't do things like that. Can't remember the last time I wore anything that didn't cover me up.

    Disgusting!

Dammit, thought I had a pic of me in one.. I could just do with £50 now I mean..
  14. Just hope she's not a pink and fluffy.
  15. Leave it out. A Scrubs quote for you now. "You have to deal out your crazy in small doses"
  16. I used a rather different way when introducing my youngest (probably too young but hey) to pheasant. I made a game out of it. Let her run in on it, let her sniff it, then ran towards her near it and then when she picked it up, I ran away. We did this a few times until she understood it was a retrieve article and then she was fine. Once she had it though I stopped and got a ball out to play with instead. You could always - as others have suggested - cut the wings off and put them on a dummy. Or put the bird in a leg of tights.
  17. Is it a lurcher collar you want? Or just a leather one? Ann Rees make really good quality leather ones. http://www.annrees.co.uk/dogs/collars/dog_collars_classic.htm I'd often dithered about them, but I quite like the collars my dogs have now. And I'm very particular

    Disgusting!

Come on, a virgin just lays there like a sack of potatoes anyway.. I find it disgusting. But then I am probably one of the rare ones that still respects their body in my generation that is. Why auction off something that should mean a lot to you? You could get some crazy psycho person wanting to do all sorts of S&M stuff to you.. I dunno. I shake my head and hope no one thinks I'm like them.

    Pie Anyone?

****!! I knew I forgot something in my master plan! No insurance on him..
  20. Good luck! I was going to suggest a Poodle. They used to be hunting dogs and in Canada they still use them (I believe it's Canada). But then I suppose you'll want one that points. Keep us updated on your search

    Pie Anyone?

No.. Although I did try to pluck a pheasant that I've been using for the dogs and when he saw me he asked what I was doing - "I'm going to cook it up for you" Bearing in mind it's been frozen and defrosted so many times. So I might be single soon if I accidently kill him

    Pie Anyone?

Thought I'd post some pictures of some other things I've made/baked. This was how the Jelly was meant to look: This is how it looked in the mould. And this is how it turned out :( Oh and I also bake for the dogs too. The above was Carob Chocolate - completely safe for dogs.

    Pie Anyone?

I've actually made it for a diabetic girl at work who has assured me she is alright to eat it. But I will have my phone on standby for the ambulance. Thanks, and yes I think my fridge now needs insulin! I don't unfortunately :( Don't think I'll make another for a long time!
  24. You mean you didn't know thats how my generation do it? I don't understand it myself. But then I'm 20 going on 200.
