    200 tdi engines

Thats not a good price for a h reg I sold my G-red disco for £1200 with 180 on the clock. and 12 months mot They will last more, it depends on oil changes and how frequent they have been in the past, I do mine every 4-5k On a h-reg the gearbox is prolly an lt77 (can tell if reverse is to the left of first) and they are ****, but as long as there are no major clonks should be ok. I wouldnt pay that price for it though. Get a rangy for £600 and drive it to the ground How many £600's in £2.5k Kyle
  8. As usual, another crock of warm and stinky from aled Aled, you really should think before typing, if telescopic sights were so ****, no one would use them. One minute you are bopping round on your quad bike telling us how you shoot near the bunnies to make them move so they are better targets for the second shot, then you are telling us that you look down the barrel instead of using scopes, you must be either an amazing marksman, or ............... If people checked their zero before they went shooting then this would be avoided and there would be a pigeon in the pot, still lesson learned for next time ey

    fench power limit

French power limit is around 9ft/lbs from memory, and it is also illegal to use an air rifle for hunting over there. These are both from memory but I a m90% sure of both They can buy rimfires over the counter, so presumably they dont see the need for powerful air rifles
  11. Took my ferret to the beach this afternoon, hes been there before and he loves it!! A couple of pics, they are about 150k but the first one is definately worth the download And another update on his kiddies, three weeks old today:

    shooting

As teal says it would suggest the scope is not properly attached, try changing the mounts, or maybe borrow a different scope as it may be the reticle is damaged If you want to learn above hold over/under with regard to range then why not join a local club? If there isnt one then just practise shooting targets at different ranges and see where the pellets fall in relation the the zero and point of aim

    Rapid 7

If people were to post how to do this it would be obvious how to raise it above the legal limit, not saying thats why u want the info but either way no self respecting shooter is gonna post it on an internet forum. Take the gun to a club, or shop and explain the situation, ask them to lower it for you. Prolly better with a club as in my experience they will be only too willing to help and wont ask for money.

    shooting

when you zero it at 30 metres it will only be zeroed at 30 metres, this means if u see a rabbit at 7ft and put the crosshairs on it then u will miss. if you put the crosshairs on it at 30 metres then u should hit it aim between the eye and the ear, only take side profile shots, and only start shooting quarry species when you are capable. No offense but why not join a club or something and learn the basics? What sort of group sizes were you getting at 30yrds, and what make of pellets are you using, a pcp should easily get ragged one hole groups at that range of a rest
  15. > I.e. firing beyond the boundary Illegality number one >They are not classed as firearms because they have no lethality so he couldn't for example commit an offence of trespassing with a firearm. A banana in a plastic bag can be used to commit a firearms offense, as long as the victim believes it is a gun then it is treated as such, there fore it is very probably armed trespass, although obviously your word against theirs I beleive as long as their output is under 1.35 Joules they are classed as toys so in theory he wouldnt need supervising Just kindly point out that it is illegal, probably armed trepass, and maybe even offer to show the kid how to shoot responsibly, or suggest a local club. No point in getting aggressive with them or they will be so back.
  16. He will ask why you need it, and if you dont know, well.. prolly best not to bother getting one eh
