  10. hahaha so your pidge is in a lot of impresionable young minds lmao!! yeh it was good pay at one time if you could get into it. i'd have been tempted to hold a pose for shooting for a lot of that 15 hours....you'd have been purely 'naturel' at it in every sense of the word. B)
  11. people have often said to me 'ehhh yu dont neeed it' or feild craft this n that blah blah, but trth is the other animals do see you, people see you, and the body languages alert your prey.. that or your having to deal with folks on your shoot, whilste trespassing, giving you song and verse about how you carnt not this that and the other..i dont think its brave of them at all some how lol it's bloody stupid! lol. theres a couple 'patision' people, they actualy tried getting the ownder not to use his woods, yu know, the one he owns etc...long story short 've stood by the couple a few times as they trundled on few hehehe...i get more shooting in if they dont get mouthing off for an hour lol. 'ohhh theyre sure they'll find him'...hmmm yes dear look 10 feet to your right hahaha!!
  12. stopped not long after this one..taint for sale lol. walked up to a rabbit at 5 yards, walked up a oak tree grove about 25 yards long, 7-8 yards wide at the path with 5 jays feeding, took 4 squirrels in between the jays, one jay left after the fact because it had finished feeding, i left the others there lol i think the squirrels were feeling safe with them about. i have to basic set ups on my scope, simply near and far, near is out to about 30 yards from about 5 in clear veiw, far is 13-14 yard out to 70 ish clear veiw for shooting, i quite often set up for rabbit and end up sat some where when a squirrel apears at 2-5 yards..i can tell tell you tisnt easy working out which fuzzy bit is which through the scope lol. the best silly thing was creeping up on a rabbit, this thing had been dodging for 2 year and finaly got on the path at abut 50 yard away and started the slow creep up, got to about 40, as it senced something was about and looked up i stop in a squot walk..this black bird was freeked out the bush's at about 30 yard down (not by me) and flew straight up under the poncho, i nearly fainted thinking sheeesh my nutts!! it landed and shut up, so i lift the front to have a look and its stood there on the ground looking at my boots left n right and all over, lookes up to see my eyes and freaks out lol...got the rabbit at last though lol. people and dogs, ermmmm they seem to find eather the savage bark from hell or the owners sudenly sprout a ballet tendancy and insist on resiting things like uhhh uhh yu $%$"@****'ng idiot whilste doing the ballerina up on the toes dance lmao!! my favourate that is some trespassers amuse me, they cant see you and theyre sneeking a peek up a path, it's clear and they proseed to walk on up..right up to me where i lower the face veil and say hello! hahaha ''oh i was just ermm it is the footpath isnt it'' lmao!!! ''nope, that way over there!'' yeh the suits are worth the punt i think.
  13. ahh good lol. only made a half dozen or so, gave up doing them when people started oooooo i'll i have one, i'll pay yu.. then when the time came wanted to give 20 quid for 45 of materieals and a w week at it.. lol, i gave up, got what i need for when its needed that does me. some intresting out comes when your wearing one isnt there
  14. mines in 2 inch netting, it works like..but yes smaller would be better for sure.
  15. full colours in woods and half shaded colours for grassy lands i think the usual thinking is for, theres loads on the net about it, and many ways to do it. bare in mind after mudding it up your wearing it lol.
  16. heres one sort of hessien/jute.. http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop/army-surplus-uk/army-miscellaneous/pack-of-10-hessian-sand-bags-250833.html some sort of net.. http://www.gelert.com/products/mini_hammock (2 inch netting is siot of useable but inch and half better..one inch if you want to go to town pigion netting works, but it isnt strong, strong enoughto with stand a walk pace snag up, but at full spring ripps a bit, best used whilse legging it from a bull to avoid the back flip at the worst moment lol. most of the hardened ghillie peeps go for proper strong nettting. cold dies work ok (but read the instructions some need a fixer packet, they wont hold without it), like dylon etc...warm dies are a bit better but makes no real odds unless your favouring stronger colours..stronger the colours the more money on dyes basicaly. thers the newer ply soething or other threads that the new suits on the net are made of, therye good and light and dont stink like hemp, if you find the stuff let me know lol.(you can just sew it straight to the jacket with a hand sewing machine thing,,)
  17. yup takes a bit of time, think its why a lot stick to prone, trouple with sticking to prone is yu never get your musstles used to standing lol..
  18. lol go for it...try not to get into the habbit of standing there clenching trying to hold it...rest if you end doing that, make it a 2 or 3 second thing, lift to the target steady and fire..watch the pellets hit then your done on that one, might sound strange but take yu time with them 2-3 seconds.
  19. that head size is all the difference tbh..i was on the .52's in AA feilds, and .50's on magnums, any other head size was like using a pee shooter.
  20. my thought is once your standings sorted..the rest seems to just get easier.
  21. try three month..all told. but ermmmm in my early twenties i took 6 weeks on a torn ankle ligament, should have been 3 month then physio..shoulder rip should have been ermm..i still get the pain 20 years later..i didnt listen and carried on. soft tissue swells...i still get the pain every now and then..didnt listen.. sliped disk? on a scale of 3, 3 being pain at every movent mine was a 1 goimng on two..6 months, i listened...i get more no pain days for much longer with listening to the docs and physio lol. all said and done though, i shouldnt be walking without straps eather...took 14 month odd for the pain to stop and the the roper rebuilding to start, all against medical advice, i lasted a few weeks in a chair and had to go out..tears the lot for quite some time though, but i did rest and did physio....to this day? ocosionaly it blows out for a day or to..probably should have listened and stayed in the chair etc etc ribs? and mustl rips in the tissue that holds um together? couple weeks and your back into it..still hrting, then several months to get rid of the pain for a suprise laugh, or..another took 6 weeks, less pain and never bothered again .. how bad do you like perminant pain? hehehe...listen to the physio peeps what ever you do. (thirty year re acuuring hip injuey..3 month physio last year odd ago and there is no pain at all now, and it moves freely..why didnt they give me physio 30 ear ago??? read above........ take at least three month matey...physio too. (or...have a reminder for the rest of your life lol).
  22. just to chuck in a odd one out... AA feilds, i've had tubs that i threw over a third away just from a visual inspection, in the end it was running up the price to the epecery list type, so i thought what the hell...and shot the bad ones in with the good ones, ermmm hardly notised the diference at 50meter lol. naff all at 30-40. i think they are a one off tbh. good vid ty.
  23. theres a patch inbetween 12fp and rimfire..funnily enough that patch is filled by FAC airguns.. but, a lot is determined by ammo, gun and user..i.e. how much money you got then? and how much practice can you put in.
