I have made the mods aware of all this. I have had many good deals off people on here, just been caught by a badun. thanks to member ant.mass who has made other forums aware of his antics. And also made me aware of the fact the goods were fake (before I gave it to my wife at Christmas) Hopefully argos ones are genuine LOL

I think that the seller of an item should be able to either delete the thread once sold or request a mod do it to prevent the sales being clogged up. Or maybe we should be able to edit the title as well as the post to state SOLD to prevent others wasting time. This would be of particular benefit on this site as you cant 'hover' your pointer over the topic to get a view of its content (another excellent feature of other forums). I think you will get more votes for the tikka as they are half the price. As a keepers gun I would suggest you dont want 1250 worth of sako 85 to get knocked about. I personally think the 75 is better and a lot cheaper. For the purposes stated a tikka with synthetic stock and a stainless barrel would be my choice. Steve b

I had two and they were both new and both threw two carts out of the chamber causing a jam. Would NEVER buy another, I ended up swopping mine for a predator 8 mod and a refund. Get a 2nd hand beretta or benelli not an escort. I know some love theirs but it seems to be a real lottery as to whether it works ok or not. Steve b

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOLD THANKS I have for sale my Sako 75 Synthetic stainless in .223 remington excellent condition (a couple of very minor marks on the stock but these are very minor). The rifle is screw cut for the moderator which comes with the package. The rifle has a heavy stainless barrel with excellent bore and very accurate. I have shot .5 moa at 100yds with home loaded 55grn v max ammo over benchmark powder. This was on the first load test and have not tried the latest batch It comes with a PES stainless over barrel moderator which looks stunning with the gun and has been proofed and stamped for this rifle. I will supply rifle with Leupold Quick release mounts (cost me 100) PES mod together with approx 300 55 gn v max heads, 120 berger match 52 gn and loads of quality brass as well as a set of .223 dies. I would estimate the cost of this lot to be around 1500 if bought new. Buyer collects if you want the ammo as well as I cant send it with the rifle obviously. Otherwise rfd to rfd at buyers expense. I will travel a reasonable distance to meet half way but may ask for fuel costs depending on distance. I am asking for 900 for everything. Will not split rifle mod and mounts. This is an exceptional rifle and could be yours before Christmas. Any inspection welcome only selling to fund a dedicated target rifle for range work. Pictures via e mail on request. try eley subs and ensure the rifle is supporter on the fore end and under the stock for the most secure position and hold you can achieve. breathe out and at the bottom of your breath cycle you will have five or six seconds in which to take the shot from a great secure gun mount. I would also suggest not cleaning though as this will help. All the best Steve
