  3. Hi all I am looking to buy a range finder and will probably go second hand I am looking at a quality unit PROBABLY in one of the following makes LEUPOLD LEICA BUSHNELL or anything else in good condition let me know what you have to offer if anything Steve b
  4. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi all I have for sale my Hawke nite eye 6.5 - 20 x 50 illuminated scope. It is in excellent working condition and comes with a set of 25mm mounts(high I think) This has served me excellently on my .22 cz but has been replaced by a leupold VX1 so has to go. It has a front parallax adjustment and 11 illuminated settings and mil dot reticle. The only small down side is the slight knurling to the illuminated dial where someone over tightened it but it does not detract from the usability at all and could be cheaply replaced. These are 160 on the web so would sell for 70posted. Cheque or cash on collection. Perfect for airgun/springer or rimfire with great magnification and the all important mil dot ret. Any questions PM me steve
  5. Hi mate If I have a load that works I pull the heads off the others and reload to the good recipe. Doesnt take too long to do as the brass is all ready. I use a kinetic puller and put a wad of cotton wool in the end to prevent bullet deformation. Just a suggestion and it means all your loads are good and you may have got the third rabbit LOL steve b
  6. hi all am open to offers for the ammo but buyer collects
  7. Good to get the rifle back. Really though in my opinion the rfd had no choice as the rifle was clearly not fit for purpose if you have had that many problems with it. All the best with the cz and next time you ask for advice TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Steve b
  8. thankyou for the comments. I will be ensuring that the cert is in hand and it will be looked at to ensure they are ok to be sold All the best steve b
  9. Hi all I recently bought a .223 sako which came with 160 rds of ammo. I have used some to test the rifle but will from now on only be using home loads so have 137 rds remaining. They are 80 Remington soft point 55 grain (55gr pointed soft pt) 57 Federal Classic 55 grain Hi Shok soft point I phoned a gun shop and was quoted 22.40 a box (20) for remington and 16.40 a box (20) federal which by my math works out to about £150 I will sell the lot for 75. Buyer collects from the Maidstone area. Cash on collection with certificate in hand please. Advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to remove Steve b
  10. I have got a pub taking them for 3.50 a rabbit fully prepped, they are doing it as a trial on the menu and have done a pie and casserole. Lets hope they want more at that price eh steve b
  11. cz is the way forward mate, deadly accurate, cheap and very reliable. I have a cz style synthetic with nickel barrel and it is a great gun for the money. You will not be disappointed. steve b
  12. I have an AYA number 4 and I like it not as much as the beretta 686 though steve b
  13. Mine kept throwing out two carts (clear pigeon 6's), back it went for an exchange gun and it did the same thing. Got a credit note and spent the money on something else and wont buy another. You should not have to waste money on carts to find which ones the gun likes as it should cycle any reasonable cart no problem (and it was a 3" chamber) I would rather get a second hand beretta than buy another Steve b
  14. I think he knows that mate that is why he says sadly I dont have this rifle (so it would be no good for him) All the best with the sale Steve b
  15. Hi mate I think that the general concensus amongst many rimfire shooters is that eley subs are generally very accurate. Get a box and try them. The best way to test ammo in my opinion is with the ferend supported but also with the stock supported to eliminate those distracting pulled shots. That way you get a true reflection of the guns ability with each ammo type.. Try eley though they are very good steve b

  18. Hi all, I am after a .223 rifle for fox and vermin work. I will consider most things but prefer to be screw cut and det mag if possible. I want an accurate gun and will consider gun only or packages inc mod / scope etc. I know there will be loads of rifles gathering dust out there so PM me what you have. Cash and slot waiting. Steve b

  23. I think they are excellent but some find that they have lots of features that are not needed. If I did not particularly want a leupold then I would have kept mine. Steve b
